Your continual over stating of how good Filo has been as a player is embarrassing.

Brodie has been a super country footballer but I’ve seen a number of others better
Give us a couple of names Roota

Filo very much in the conversation of best player I have seen at country level, people forget how good he was at raiders - won a morris medal and would have won a second in my opionon if his jaw wasent broken by Sam Schultz I believe

Imagine how good he could have been if the off field antics were not part of his make up

Michael Angelo, affectionately known as Stabber, not overly large in stature, but by god did he make up for it with heart, battled like a man possessed in the clinches. Quads that could trudge through the heaviest deck all day long. He sits comfortably with the leagues all time greats, criminally underrated outside his home, it’s blasphemy his name doesn’t get tossed about more often.

Would the narrative of “big guns“ didn’t play change had the OM not lost Muller, Baker, Jacob Conlan & Wheeler in lead up and all played yesterday?
two were going to be co captains.
remembering all were in squad and had been put in squad based on conversations had weeks before about their willingness to play. 4 automatic selections and players in good form.
and Ellis-Yolmen, the biggest recruit to come into league, was also in squad and inclusion would have been subject of talks weeks prior.
sometimes its important to dig into detail.

It’s referring to the sooks who withdrew completely, but as the headline wrote “no Wangaratta no worries”.

Filo was the best player outside the AFL for years, hasn’t slowed up a bit in recent times. Stone is every bit as good as good as Richards, I expect him to be picked up. On a side note, patrons were welcomed to the sports ground with a larger than life banner of Muller, typical of the league, urinating in Albury’s pocket, would’ve loved to have seen Brodie on there, or even Prime, I know he wasn’t playing but was a missed marketing opportunity. You guys may not of realised how wet the ball was in the last, stone had it in one hand like Velcro grip to a tennis ball, incredible skills.
Stone could hardly even get a VFL game when he was on VFL lists
