how is our match day experience the best? I'm genuinely baffled by that statement. How bad is every other teams?

MR, because we don't care what happens on the the field. What happens off the field defines our Football Club Corporation.

Sorry, we cant call ourselves a football club until it is handed back to the members.

🎶 I got you, babe :musicalnote:
Very apt given Cher was in an abusive relationship with Sonny when they recorded this.

The PAFC has become like the abusive partner that keeps telling their victim that things will be better next time.

Thanks Matthew, yep losing a home qualifying final by 84 points and not firing a shot in the prelim were particular highlights.

Never be in any doubt as to what the internal expectations are - these people are just thrilled to be there.

If they had a competition for reading the room this bloke would come stone motherless last.

Reads like a good old cut and paste that ticks that box in his kpi....

Casual Keith had his faults but I think I remember a time when comms generally had a meaning, purpose and came across as his "voice" although generic executive out if his depth is a voice I guess.

There would be nothing wrong with acknowledging making finals/prelims as something of an achievement if it represented progress or breaking new ground (eg our AFLW team or even our AFL team back in '13/'14).

When you've got the same people delivering the same results who have long since clearly and obviously hit the ceiling of their achievement it becomes a boring and self serving message that comes across as them protecting their own jobs (because it is).

I'm tired of it being constantly shoved to my face.

Does it at least talk about the drive to and disappointment of not achieving a premiership?

Absolutely.

In 2014 we lost a prelim and we were the hottest team in football, going into 2015 as flag favourites.

In 2024 we've lost a prelim with a similarly young side and pundits have us battling to make the 8.

Yea still gives me a buzz the NTUA , I’d be open to trying out other ones but only if they work , the other ones they play are pretty good.too , better than Sweet Caroline .
As far as a 45 sec sound bite leading up to the first bounce goes it’s hard to beat . If it can be sure but it’s pretty good

The thing about these club songs is they're organic. Whatever their origin, they attach themselves to the club and the supporter's psyche and become entrenched.

It's not a simple thing to change or even start. Cornesy has been trying for decades to attach a song to the crows and its like trying to wallpaper with post it notes.

NTUA was good but it's got a bit cringy with the swaying of the scarves its gone christmas carol mode lol and the actual meaning of the song to where our club and supporters are at lol we are torn no doubt about it
