Pakistan are so frustrating to try and follow. They roll out such different teams all the time. What happened to Shafique, he’s gone to shit. And suddenly Abbas back in the team?

Seeing him back in the team was a real WTF moment for me yesterday.

Has a good record in tests, what ever happened to him to be dumped?

Averaging 40 at FC level and being a number 9 doesn't seem to compute.

He had a good start to his career but averaged 38 in his last 15 Tests and looked toothless a hell of a lot. Pakistan were running Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah, Hasan Ali by that stage.

I'm not sure this logic adds up in first class cricket. If you're 20 not out, you're much more like to get to 40 in your current innings than getting to 20 again in a new innings.

Corbin Bosch has been hurt by being 81* for example. He's more likely to be making more runs at 81* and flying than having to start again next innings.
