West Coast have done well to secure Bailey Williams and Jarrod Cameron with their third and fourth picks. Both for mine are best 25 players in the pool.

Think we may have cooked it.. obviously don’t know who we rated highest on our draft board but it feels like we’re always 1 step behind everyone else in draft strategy and are often left with “solid” players. Trumped with the 3 decent mids before our pick, passing on Hill (possibly hoping he slid but only to be beaten again), ending up with two guys we could have got with 40+ picks. Going to trust the team after building a premiership list but our drafts always feel underwhelming

As premiers, we have managed to get 4 players inside the top 40 where we should only have managed 2, I'm pretty happy with that!

I trust the recruiters to have hit at least 3 out of 4 (without any set idea on who the fail might be!)

Bailey Williams yes. Cameron's best is top 25, his worst was rookie level. I think if Brisbane didn't bid, he would be 50-rookie pick.

Basically got Williams with an extra pick, which is unexpected, but a great outcome.

I didn’t rate O’Niell as a second rounder personally but will look closer at home later. Sounds like a fairly balanced mid

Two out of four is actually a pretty good result.

Like, Ainsworth probably won't make, same with Pet. There may have been better players available, but I guess the clubs are willing to take risks.
