He and Adams need to swap mindsets
And Crisp who just bombs fwd has been opposition 23rd man last few weeks, think he has forgotten what a handball is too.

He and Adams need to swap mindsets
Lipinski salvaged his performance with 10 disposals and two marks in Q4. Was underwhelming in Q1-Q3.
Needs to kick the ball much more often. Not making the most of his greatest strength.

As I said. Soft as a waffle cone with vanilla. on Sandringham beach with seagulls swoopingReckon he is getting found out vs rougher big physical teams, thought he was overall poor tonight
If we could merge his disposal efficiency into Adams, we'd have a champion. What pick we gave up for him is about right. He is no gun mid, but he probably still has improvement in him.
He can’t play as an inside mid though.
Yeah, it does seem that way. Which I suppose is a compliment to his skills. But he'll have to work through that challenge going forward.Opposition know his kicking skills, they close down his space and pressure him into hand balling.

I'd say that he's playing a pretty inside role and doesn't have the pace to break away and get in the clear.Opposition know his kicking skills, they close down his space and pressure him into hand balling.
He's soft and slow, it's not his fault we're using him as an inside mid but the bargain we all thought we got with that nothing pick is a myth.He is a great kick, he needs to use his feet more often. The same probably could be said for many of our players. Too many handballing which can get them in trouble.
Funny how the Treloar comparisons stopped as his form got worse.
You learn how to use your body more effectively. You also learn how the other gun mids will learn to move you off the ball as the umpire balls it upLack of opportunity I imagine is a good starting point. But I actually think he is better used as an outside mid; with his elite skills, and ball use. He is who you want the ball to be delivered to, rather being the hunt and grunt type like Adams.

He is no star and was never going to be. But right now, he is in our best 22 and in the age bracket we lack.
He gets his 20+ disposals a game and a few clearances. Not sure what else we can expect trading for a guy with a 3rd round pick.
Expectations were obviously set very high after his first 30 disposal game.
He is a kid himselfHe is what he is. I'd prefer to see kids playing and him filling in when needed.
He is a kid himself
So he's still 2-3 years away from his peak. Given mid-20s is when most male athletes are in their prime. No he ain't. 23yo and drafted 5 years ago.

I think relatively he is a kid. Relative to a significant portion of the guys we have playing midfield / flanker roles (Pendlebury, Sidebottom, Adams, Crisp, WHE)You called him a kid..now you're moving the goal posts.
