Pav and the All Australian

Truly a joke. Pav has had a fantastic season. He kicked the second highest goals this year and I am sure he had more assists than many ofthe forwards on offer. Just unbelievable.

Don't know why some of you are bringing NN into it..But if Pav isn't in it and Jack Riewoldt is, I will find the AA selectors somehow and unleash a verbal barrage on them (similar in style to Will Ferrell in the bad cop bad cop scene in The Other Guys) on your behalf. I'll then turn my attention to Riewoldt and ask him to give his award to Pavlich, as he cheated by never leaving the goal square and being selfish in his efforts for personal glory.

+ of fwds most inside 50s and most tackles (midfield role helps though).

You would have thought Jako would have put in a good word or two. Maybe to busy building a case fo all the Eagle players

More than likely still pissed that Pav took his WA player games record.

Pav probably rang the AFL (being the humble man that he is) and told them to give his spot to NN. After all the texts he has sent the players he has been a truly deserving winner.
Pav's not a greedy man and already has 6 All Australians honours. Maybe he is booked in for surgery to fix his achillis and that is more important that individual accolades.

Presumably, if true, they were trying to fit all of Hawkins, Buddy, Blubber boy and Pav in and cut Pav because they cared less about getting grief from distant WA than from whichever set of fans felt hard done by in Melb when their boy was left out. Weak since they are all FF's and he is a CHF (and clearly the dominant one this season) and they shouldn't be competing for a position.

Pav > daylight > spuds.

Can not believe it if he is not selected.

FREMANTLE skipper Matthew Pavlich has not been invited to Monday night's Four'N Twenty All Australian ceremony, fueling speculation that he will miss selection in the team.

It mentions he will have surgery which may be one reason he wasnt invited, but surely in that case he would have been invited and then declined it.

Nice try, but I would say it's more likely that the selectors are potatoes.

Looks as though the FF position will automatically go to the Coleman Medal winner. I know Jacko was supporting the selection of Pav.

Basil Zemplis just Tweeted. " I suspect the selectors will point towards a flat spot for Pav in rounds 2-9, but gee, amazing second half. Stiff in my book."

If you look at all those players Hawkins, Buddy, Petrie, Reiwoldt and Pav it would seem that Pav would have the least likely chance to kick the most goals as we would probably have the weakest midfield out of all the other teams. But, he kicked the second highest total goals and I am sure he had the most goal assists out of that lot. Just not right.

@BasilZempilas =2nd goals, for fwds...most I50s, assists & tackles. What were these 'non flat spot' players doing? Not stiff, shafted.

A problem is, if true, media will just let it pass as no big deal.

I love how dockers fans are more annoyed that a few eagles might get picked (glass or naitanui) rather than just disappointed that your own players didn't potentially make it.

Nothing to do with the Eagles mate or haven't you seen how annoyed we are that Jack R is being selected over Pav.

NicNat doesn't deserve it yet and Glass NEVER takes the best forward anymore.

Well it makes sense. We get treated disrespectfully, and when one of ours is stitched, we support him.
Derrrrrrr !!
Pavlich has been the best west aussie based player in the AFL this year.

I love how west coast supporters constantly invade our board with their feigned outrage over what we're discussing.

Hang on a sec... no I don't.
