Why a Port fans gloating over this? I am guessing because of the KG, Cornes etc constant assumptions that Pavlich would be coming home riding his white horse to lead the AFC to premiership glory. The way they have carried on at times on 5AA regarding Pavlich seemed to imply the deal was done....
Why are WCE fans bitchy about this? Hmm, would need to think about this....

Sure if you want count 2 pre-season games and an end of season drinking contest as part of it. But if your going to do that i beat the Dockers on my playstation 2 the last few times when i was playing as the Eagles so i should count them because they hold as much significance as the other 3 matches
we traded our pick .... when it came to our turn to draft judd had already been taken....
pav went through at 17 and everyone passed him up!

Nope.
Anyway, good news for Freo, most important player at the club.
It is also bad news for WC, but purely because it means the media has one less thing to talk about, which means they will talk about Judd more.
