That's rather faint praise

The characters seem more interesting than those on similar shows at least

The worst show of this type that I've stumbled upon is Baggage Wars in which people bid on abandoned suitcases

Jeepers!! Rick Harrison with his 3rd wife,

Not......what.....I......expected :D

Don't mind the occasional watch of this one, but I'd have to say American Pickers is the best of this type of show. The two guys on there are just so likeable.

Between this new one (in the US) and the game show (Pawnography) they just keep repackaging/making spin-offs of this show :
"Pawn Stars: Pumped Up is a series that airs extended enhanced episodes with extra information, deleted scenes and bonus unseen footage from the show Pawn Stars that also airs on the History Channel."

I find these types of shows interesting (Hardcore Pawn, American Pickers, Australian Pickers) but don't see any appeal in Chumlee. I don't find him cute nor his antics amusing. He has broken purchases, turned up late, taken sickies, and still has his job. I would not have somebody like him working for me, he is void of personality and does not seem to know much about the products people want to sell or about 20th century history. Apparently his real name is Austin.

Old Man Harrison always gives it to Chumlee which I find hilerious.

It's how his character is written.

I went to the shop in late 2009 or 2010, just when the show was gaining a following in the states. I was there when they were filming a segment, though it never aired. Chumlee was in the back, but came out to have pics taken with visitors. He was really friendly. I bet that changed after they blew up. I went back a few years ago. Not the same. I have a Chumlee coffee mug that I keep pens and pencils in. Perhaps I can pawn it here in Melbourne? :p
