That’s okay to have. Treacy and Amiss are still young and a few pre seasons away from their potential.
Absolutely, Taberner as a depth player is his best use, let him kick 5 goals in the WAFL every week and in the event that one of those two gets hurt he can come in with form and hopefully kill it.

How far is he off AFL level?
He’s a reasonable size already but does need to increase core strength and a little more muscle bulk over next pre-season. Second half of next year with a good pre-season behind him and a solid start to the year and I don’t see why he couldn’t step up.

So far we’ve only needed Hamling for 3 games in a similar scenario I don’t see why Davies can’t fill the same role as Hamling this year. My concern comes if there is a longer term injury and he isn’t ready to play week in week out.

That is why I’m not against delisting Hamling and adding him as a rookie list one year contract. But if not I think we can cover with Ryan, Chapman and Hugh Davies. Chapman dislocated his shoulder today which is a real shame. He was terribly rusty in his first game a couple of weeks ago and still a bit of rust again today. Hopefully he can get on top of his injury issues.

Taberner at this point is a depth player, he doesn't come in unless one of Treacy or Amiss is injured in my opinion.
Tabs is coming in for Darcy. I like the 2 Key Forwards, 1 ruck/forward and 1 ruck structure.

AFL is hard on the body and load management to keep the squad healthy.

Rotating Darcy, Jackson, Treacy, Tabs and Amiss makes senses into four spots.

Don't worry chappy will be post shoulder op juddy..both shoulders strapped and beast mode bulldozing out the stoppages

Conrad Williams played forward. Might explain his low possession game. Nod and Stanley were wing, understandably

Edit. He did spend some minutes on wing.

An AFL Player may play in the WAFL Finals where:
i.
his AFL Club is not participating in the AFL Finals match on the same weekend as his WAFL Partner Club; and
a. the player must have played a minimum of six (6) WAFL League matches; and
b. the player has played two (2) of the clubs last eight (8) WAFL League home and away matches; and
c. the number of qualified AFL players eligible to play does not exceed twelve (12) AFL players.

Doing research on this (sorry for scrambled order, just jotting down as I check)

Worner needs one more game
Williams needs the final 3
Wilson is in
Erasmus needs 2/3 games to qualify
Draper needs 1 more game
Corbett is qualified
Colyer is in

Banfield, Taberner, Chappy, Knobel, can't qualify without exceptions
Brodie needs 1 more game to qualify
Davies is in
Emmett is in

Hamling needs 1 game to qualify
Henry needs 2 games to qualify
Noddy needs 2 games to qualify
Reidy is in
Sturt needs 1 game to qualify
Stanley needs 1 game to qualify
Wagner needs 1 game to qualify

Jeez a lot are missing rn, weird

EDIT: I calculated the last 8 games from 13-20 but Peel had a bye or two in that period, if it moves forward to 12 then a few more qualify (Hammer, Wagner, Draper, Worner)

I'd say Williams counts by having played reserves (I know the wording is odd) otherwise it's just dumb

It specifies league matches though, in the same document it talks about reserves qualifications for regular WAFL teams, so I don't see why it would include reserves (Having said that, I'm sure we would be granted an exception for him, that would be a reason the rule is there)

Yeah I'm just going to count Knobel and Williams because it would be the stupidest thing I've ever seen if not. From the list (and you're update), I'd say Stanley and Brodie are shoe-ins to qualify and possibly Ras & Noddy. There might be some thought to trying to get an exception for Banfield if he plays the rest of the year at Peel and his injuries are what stopped him qualifying
