Perrie for Croad??

This was a rumour I heard on 5AA here in recent times.

I think it's a trade that works for both teams. Perrie as a forward for Freo and Croad as a backman for the Crows.

It's had a heap of discussion on the Crows board and I don't seem to have too many Crows fan that agree with the trade as they don't want Croad. Here's the link.

I think Croad needs a change of environment and I would like to see him at the Crows.

With Justin Longmuir's down year last year and Waterhouse's perpetual injuries etc, Perrie would add to your forward structure.

What's the thoughts of Freo fans on this one???

It might actually work. Freo would be loathe to trade Croad in many respects because of the raw material the guy has got. Great leap, pace and strength.

Perrie's 24, and his star is on the rise. Because of injuries to Stevens and Carey he got 22 games either as a CHF or FF, and he was one of the club's big improvers for the year.

Perrie would certainly provide a target up forward.

Not sure the Crows would take Croad though.

Can see Croad going back to Victoria somehow... That is, IF Fremantle want to part with him.

Freo payed a pretty-penny to get Croad over to the West. They might hold on to him for one more season.
