This game shows why we won't want to play another small forward in the GF. If the ball movement's not there they're bit players. Elliott, Hill, McCreery all did their bit, but not hugely influential.

Ginnivan was good when he came on, further incentive to keep him as a sub specialist. Wouldn't be against him getting a spot in the 22 if it can be found.

Not sure Lipinski did enough today. When someone like Noble is on the sidelines and potentially Adams returning, he has to be under some pressure.

Still feel Noble should be in this team. We again were too static out of defence. Markov just doesn't give us the with ball run that Noble does.

GWS best tonight

A win not to be underestimated. The Giants are a serious outfit playing the best footy up to tonight and they tested us to our limits. I just hope that this was the game we needed to have, a close tough game, probably didn't play well but a lot of that was due to the opposition and hopefully next week we can show more of our best footy.

I am optimistic about next week regardless of the opposition and feel like we will play with more freedom than we did tonight. One game in a month wasn't great for us, we needed the hit out and I think it will tune us up a bit more.

Here we go! We made the GF and I'm hoping to see us give our best and leave it all out there.

Agree with most that Lipinski needs to go and Noble comes in for me.
Lipinski softness was deplorable tonight. He is a bruise free player nor suited to finals.

I wouldn’t risk Adams to be honest a week and a bit with a hammy no matter how minor is not worth the risk.
