I'm really hoping you guys get up tonight for a few reasons:
1) It means Hawthorn can't win the flag AGAIN. Talking to a few guys I know (admittedly a few Carlton, Sydney and Geelong fans in there!) and all are praying Hawthorn don't win it. This Vic team bias thing might be real at the influential level of clubs, but it's basically the opposite with regular supporters. It'd be some sweet revenge for 2013 too.
2) Pav deserves a flag before he retires, for what he's done for your footy club. Great player and leader, plus a humble and loyal bloke too. So does Ross Lyon, who is a better coach than a number of others who have the 'premiership' tag attached.
3) It's another step towards a Derby GF. As much of a heart attack it would be for you guys, it'd be a great spectacle. If you are going to finally break your premiership duck as well, what sweeter way to do it than against the Eagles? Again, heart attacks aside!
Good luck anyway.
