Rumour Phil Walsh to Crows

Let's face it - massive loss. Walsh being a good senior coach is irrelevant, who knows if he will or won't be.

Ken loosing his right hand man two years in a row is ******* shithouse. Great for the club that we are seen as a breeding ground for future senior coaches but it is ******* with our consistency. If we had won a flag, yep okay - but we ain't won nothing. The two blokes that Ken would confide in the most are looking like being at other clubs (yes shit clubs but they still are gone).

And yet we have improved each year. The key to our coaches box is ken. You are right though - huge loss if it happens. But thats the game these days.
No doubt weve picked walshs brain over the season and can store the good bits away... just like we did with richardson.
Kens a student of the game and we have three very good young line coaches who will continue to develop... and woukd be keenly sucking in knowledge.... and we gave hocking floating around.

RussellEbertHandball has been keen to get a forward as a forward line coach, how about Ryan O'Keefe? Or has he ruled out coaching in 2015?

I would have given ROK a 2 year contract 1 year to play 8-12 games and the other as an assistant coach and seeing he has played most of his career in the forward lines the gets the forward line gig in my eyes.

Good luck to him if does get the job I guess. His role is not as important as Alan Richardson's was so it's tough to stand in his way even if he will never ever be forgiven. :p

We won't stand in his way if he's going for the senior gig, obviously. But should the crows use this as a way of getting him in the back door (ie, senior assistant/right hand man for a Dew or Bolton) we should pull out all stops to prevent him from going. He is contracted for another two years.

All the best to Walsh if he takes it, makes them a bit more likeable.

Hahaha. No it doesn't. It makes them more contemptible. They gaze on and watch us innovate so they can come along on our coat tails and imitate...and poorly. They are the Justin Hammer to our Tony Stark. Pathetic.

I actually wouldn't mind this as odd as it may be. Hinkley is mates with Sando who would also have intel on the other mob.

LOL are you kidding me? Who cares if he has the intel on the other mob, we're aiming for a premiership next season I'm pretty sure Ken isn't too worried whats going on at West Lakes.

I don't think Kochie would stand for that after last year. Top job or bust.

This is a joke, yes? Firstly, Sanderson is a moron and would have Intel on nothing. Secondly, don't believe the media show. Ken can't stand Sanderson.

Yeah, exactly. Kochie was even posturing publicly about holding Richo to his contract for a bit until calmer heads prevailed. There's no way he'll allow Walsh to walk for anything but the head coaching job in his own right.

Yeah, Sando. Remember when he left us in the lurch last time? Let him go to Collingwood. No one else wants to.

So, you're saying that Sando has no intelligence and is not as universally likeable as we are led to believe?!

He did squeeze St Kilda for a bit of compo. The AFL held him back from going gung ho.

It's a good thing Burgess is 100% tied to us as they'd have gone 100 miles per hour at him too. In fact, I hope someone stayed behind to guard Alberton while everybody was at the B&F tonight. Otherwise we'd probably wake up to find The Port Club uprooted and relocated to Max Basheer Reserve come sunrise.

I think we're safe now, Rucci's identified Walsh as a target.

Looks like he's no more a favourite than Dew or Bolton. Maybe Tredders is trying to scare them off.

The 2004 premiership cup would be in the crows museum with the word Port scratched off.

And don't say 'sunrise', you'll give them ideas (heaven knows they can't think of their own). :p

He is already signed with the crows according to multiple adelaide posters, will be announced when the head coach is.

Multiple Adelaide posters? You mean like when an amoeba divides?
