As inconvenient as this may be for us, I actually trust that Hinkley and co will or already are putting due diligence into getting a replacement. 2 Years now that the disorganization of other clubs is interfering with us. Makes me laugh how the crows are trying to literally copy our success. List of hit list names now include Haysman, Burgo and now Walsh....I think Matthew Nicks was also a mention. But seriously, I hope we firm up on this for the future and put our foot down.

My big worry is that we might be losing a premiership winning assistant coach. Who gives a **** about the Crows?

ill agree on the dont wish them well, i wouldnt care if they lost 22 games and got the sack, but a club cant stop an assistant from joining another club to be a head coach. its what happens when you are up the top, look at all the coaches recently being looked at for senior roles, all have come from either geelong hawthorn sydney and now port. noone is poaching from st kilda or melbourne (or the crows)

Ok say he goes , we make him payout the 2 years oweing on his contract , just doesn't walk with no comeback I hope.

Clearly he was approached by them first. Not sure what to make of it if he doesn't get the job. The rumours have been that they are after a big PAFC theme at their franchise.

Sort of leaves us in a shit spot again. We need to be able to protect our intel a bit better than we do. Why don't any hawthorn coaches get poached for senior jobs? A few Geelong coaches did but this was after they tasted success.

Makes you wonder if the crows are just too focused on the PAFC?

They are too focused on us. But let's not be like them, think nationally, forget them, waste of energy. It's just nice to know we have inspired them to be like us, the scum who started all this in 1990........

Mate I was being sarcastic: the Crows can appoint Humphrey B. Bear for all I care (although communication with the players would be a bit of an issue ). If Walsh leaves, mark my words - Port definitely still win a flag without him!!!!
