that interview is possibly the worst display of football leadership I’ve ever seen.
Zero accountability and zero care about anyone but himself and Kenny.

This is Stockholm syndrome mentality.

Also this line of “Hinkley is the first one at the club and last to leave” and that “he does so much for the club that people don’t see”

Yeah no shit he is the head coach, pretty sure the next one we get will do the exact same thing
He's definitely the last one to ****ing leave. He'll be there after the apocalypse

I'm giving him a little bit of a cop out since he is only 24 and is in his first year as captain but seriously, he has hardened his resolve and demand better from the playing group and ACTUALLY TURN UP TO PLAY LIKE A CAPTAIN AND STEP UP WHEN IT MATTERS.

At the moment, Zak Butters plays like a captain. Rozee has got to step up and elevate himself to another level. Still a lot of upside in his game; defensive accountability, two-way runner, 30-40 goal kicking midfielder among other things.

He says his final series was OK.

Half hearted tackling efforts, not putting his head over the ball at various times.

Not good enough.

I think there's very little you can accurately judge about the captain or any of the players under this current system. it's a cult. By definition if you don't tow the line then you're not a "team player". They would be constantly told it's us against them. It's perfect in every way, except the coach and plan it's all in service of doesn't have what it takes and constantly fails when it matters. Everything about it from leadership buy in, to media manipulation, the under siege mentality, the unerring faith and the promote from within doctrine is perfect aside from it's hasn't worked. None of these things are 'bugs', they're 'features', but they're features of a failed system. This is why when somebody like JHF comes in and brings with him something 'other', we all see it and marvel. It's a "desire for change", even at the minute by minute level of a game. But the system doesn't want change. The longer he's in the system, the more this will be dulled.

I know.

When Butters or Bergman break free from it, I will actually be happy for them.

I can't imagine how hard it would've been to work on Sunrise with the Kockle Brother.

He turns 25 on 22-Jan-2025.

Warren Tredrea turned 25 on 24-Dec-2003.
