Happy with this deal. Get Kako anyway - pick 9 is reportedly a fair pick for him - so we’re giving up a couple of second rounders to get a first rounder next year.

On this year’s results that would be Pick 5 - Dees can rise or fall.

There is enough points for Kako without 28,31 and 37 (Stringer). All of those we will trade to get another future first next year.

Picks will be worth even more next year with points discount being dropped to only 10% and only up to pick 54 having points.

to be fair, you really have no idea how each club rates the draftees. just because you read Cal Twomey's top 30 doesn't mean you have a clue if a club would bid on Kako or not. Windsor wasn't considered a top 10 or even top 15 pick according to these phantom drafts, next minute we take him at 7.

Only once in the last 5 drafts have we used a pick in the National Draft that was later than 39, and that was for a F/S in Woewodin.

Two top 10 picks in a super draft is sublime. It's where the stars invariably come from.

Poor trade by the bombers. Kako is projected to go 15-20. They could have kept pick 9 and if a bid comes before which is very unlikely then trade out like most other clubs do. Academy players tend to slide as well.
