Im throwing out what i have heard? and my opinion, and i havent been too far from the truth, maybe some minor details, not specifying the age,size,gender,haircolour or she size of a player ooming off but i was still there about the mark... so if you two are finished hosting 'the view' talk football?

Have absolutely no problems at all with you throwing out what you have heard or haven't heard . Just don't state them as facts and don't get so shitty when others correct you .
IMO , it is in everyone's best interest that things are clarified rather than people running off half cocked , with half arsed stories and innuendo .

Im not getting corrected? im getting told 'WRONG' and then no one is correcting or giving the people on the forum what they want! ANSWERS!!!

That's nonsense I tried to explain why you were corrected on the sub rule age thing. You didn't care to even try to understand. In fact you tried to prove my response wrong. I explained re Toc no club can apply to join our league until later in the year so that's why I said its rumour. Yes it's a rumour that's been around for a while as well. There is alot of work they need to do first like get released from the MFL. Feel free to discuss it you will see i have but if you want the official answer its no they haven't applied. I know all this from experience as a league delegate that of which you dismiss as full of it?

On the 4 man bench again I tried to explain that. They are voting on the sub rule only.
As you said there is the rule about 4on bench but that isn't being voted on. Clubs may elect to stay with 21?? Who knows at this stage? You made it out to be a done deal its not.

I have answered you just couldn't see past the word wrong.

Cheers :) i THINK and hope the VFCL will step in there and we wont get a vote, more clubs the better! (upto 16) we'll see

Yeah I still think "Mower" McCarty from Waaia will win this years medal! & Personally I think any team currently in the Top 5 can play off in the Granny!! But obviously Tungamah rightly so should & would be favourites!!

I'm still going to go with James doubling up on the medal and goals! Ricky Frapple Hasn't played a bad game yet, Rowe from Tungamah is having a good year? Mower would be hard to beat tho!

so in regards to clubs able to have a 4 man bench with 18 on the field? (if the sub rule isnt voted in favour for) is it fictional or no fiction? no cryptics please :)
 
Has it been suggested that the 22nd player (if it is to change from 21 to 22) be an U17 player but not actually a sub player, if clubs choose not to play an U17 player they can only have 3 on the bench, it then is trying to help with Junior Development by playing at least 1 U17 but not sub out a regular senior player.
I know a number of clubs that play U17 players already may just use this as to bring in another Res (top age) player but at least there is still a regular U17 player that is good enough to be in the top 21 and is getting better devolpment.
Thoughts MrCopezz, Roar & WILTY if this suggestion hasnt already been mentioned? Be interested to see what the current JDO's on both sides of the league thoughts are on this to, if they read the forum or if anyone has discussed in depth with them?

yeah i said that earlier on in the posts, fair enough make the 22nd player a under 17s player but he can go on and of the ground the same as any other player. if a club doesnt have a ready junior player, they would go with 21!? GREAT IDEA PURE ADRENALINE!... i know im running out with 2 u17s players this weekend!

Don't tell mrcopezz but I agree that is a good concept :) . I am just thinking how clubs may use it incorrectly.
My one concern for a borderline under 17s going into seniors is i would like coaching staff to be able lets say design when the kid comes into the game to be in his best interests. Like just as an example last 5 minutes of the quarters. Is coming in with 15 minutes to go and the game is tight with a fair bit of heat. Maybe I am being a bit soft but don't think that's a good initiation.
Most clubs would be playing at least one to two of their better 17s. The rule is designed for the ones that aren't quite as ready especially confidence wise??
I still favour the rule as it is to trial it at least. Then review it at seasons end in consult with the JDO's?
