Not poached by rovers. My family is at rovers I was a rovers junior netballer. I was hoping my son could be part of rovers first senior flag. After two years He decided to play with mates at rams.

Hay? Absolutely not he has not spoken to any other club and re-signed at rams. we are happy there and likely to stay there long term.

Funnily enough his mates shit stirring on that local footy rumours thing had him going to Toc last season. Bad luck for you that wasn't true either haha!

Not correct. Rovers never poached the player in question. He wanted to come to the club and developed into a great player over his 2 seasons there. Has had a few injuries and will have a big year next year at Rams. He won't be going to Hay.

I'm sure he would of. He kicked 100 in the 3rds the year before. He and his cousin came to training one day and that was that. When u have 2 quality kids walk through the door off their own bat u thank your lucky stars. Something that doesn't happen to often.

Yes. He actually made it through to the last day of trials for bushrangers the year he kicked the 100 but dislocated his shoulder flying for a mark and coming down badly. So blighty developed him really well along with a bit of help from Roar.
Purely personal reasons went to rovers but they also did a great job with him especially confidence wise after the injury and disappointment. More than happy with both those clubs.

No-one has slandered Finley's junior program , you and NFB have simply come on here trying to play out that alternative options to the PDFNL are far superior which is not true .
As for watching finals I did take great interest in many GF's including the performance of Gregory in the NW grand final which I would argue is the best individual performance by a 17 year old in a senior grand final for a loooooong time .

Leigh Ramsdal coached in the PDFNL and was offered big many from many clubs .
Bode 3 time premiership coach .
Braybon rovers new coach was apparently named coy in cairns comp .

I think braybon is a ex Finley junior that played two years of bushies ! Aaron Purcell started as murray league fourths player , roar you poacher you didn't just poach the player you poached the WHOLE club you mongrel haha

Roar, can you remind bigkev what club & league the last 2 goulburn murray schoolboy MVPs have come from?

Pull your head out of your a$$ bigkev to suggest that the standard in MFL u17s is higher (which I agree it is) for any reason other than the population of the towns involved is bullsh!t Nothing to do with coaching, facilities etc, MFL clubs simply have access to greater numbers of juniors.

For example strathy 3rds won the grandfinal by 11 goals but we still had to play u14s kids up. Having said that I would say our top 5 u17 kids would be in the top 8 at any MFL club.
