as you can see I am beginning my own thread on what I hear and I just pass on this information.
My strike rate isn't perfect but I have had a fair go in the past couple of years to become as reliable as I can, if you don't like what I post or you are just going to ridicule me then please feel free to bypass this thread thank you and to all that do believe in me I look forward to giving use the best possible information I do receive it.

my information will no always be 100% correct but if I can get 6-7/10 I am more then pleased, take it as you must as I said earlier if use aren't interested in what I have to say please bypass this thread cheers guys - PT

Thanks mate! i look forward to reading whatever inside news you can find, whether you get some wrong or not, doesn't bother me. I appreciate your effort

Good thread.
Should be popular.

Pie Time

Can you provide a short summary of where you sit with what you know. Maybe put it in your opening post and then just add to it as you go.

Pie time... Any chance you can tell me we AREN'T getting lin jong? I really really really don't f***ing want him.
I'd love to say we aren't but unfortunately seems a foregone conclusion

Posing. You don't come out and say 'Yeah, we want to offload Clokey and we'll take what we can get' when he's under contract and his currency is the subject of heavy debate. It's completely compromises your bargaining position.

Coming out and saying that we'll hold him to his contract if all that's offered is a pack of chips (or Lin F****** Jong) puts the ball back in the Dogs court to come up with a satisfactory trade. If they want him that badly then they can offer up something that's actually worthwhile.

I know it's posing. But it's a bit laughable to be honest.

It's like saying "Hey, we are happy paying $500k to a player for playing half a season at VFL, particularly, if we don't like the offer of a 3rd round pick or something".

At 29, I am assuming Cloke's going to improve on his 2016 season.

Makes sense :drunk:

what is everyone's thoughts on Dal Santo? I haven't got much to say at this point but wouldn't mind him running off a back flank tbh

Id take Dal Santo purely for his experience. Say Maynard or Howe gets injured before a crucial game, id be a bit more confident having an experienced bloke like dal santo coming in, rather then say an inexperienced young prospect, who may not be ready, and could be exposed.
I wouldn't guarantee him a best 22 role week in week out. If he has coaching aspriations after footy, a 1 yr deal with a view to a role in coaching would be all good with me.

Third round pick would still be unders and I think most would agree. If he gets back to close to his best he's worth way more than that. Hell, if he played as well as he did in the last game of the season, he's worth comfortably more than a third round. Would rather we keep him and try to get him to maintain that form. That's 40-50 goals a year if he could match it plus a good option out of defence.

Can we please all endeavour to just talk about things that Pie Time discusses? Rather than just making this another Trade discussion thread?:)

Now who does this remind you of?
