Which midfield would you Choose

1) Gary Ablett Jnr, Scott Thompson, Daniel Cross, Joel Selwood, Paul Haselby
2)Gary Ablett Jnr, Scott Thompson Daniel Cross, Daniel Kerr, Danyle Pearce
3)Gary Ablett Jnr, Scott Thompson, Daniel Cross, Nathan Foley, Danyle Pearce
I'd go 1.
Kerr not for DT, Pearce is a nice selection but i just don't like him

Im not really sold on lucas. He might go up a bit but he wont be in my side for long. Hence I wanted to upgrade him as I already have higgins, skipworth and ziebell or another rookie playing in my forward line.

I was thinking someone like Gia or steve johnson but then I would have to downgrade Rich in my midfield to L Anthony. I am only a tiny bit short on cash from being able to keep rich. Alternatively I could go for a forward around the 370-380 mark like Leon Davis or someone cheaper like Dale Thomas. Thoughts?

Buddy vs S Johnson

This old chestnut again. SJ was the most consistent forward last year, so he's good to have from the start. Also means you can pick him up a bit cheaper as the year goes on. Ive now seen a couple of articles about Buddy being Richo MkII, so this midfield thing is a definite possibility. Could bump his average past 100.

Which Midfield?

Ablett, Kornes, Dalziell, J Selwood, Mackay, Anthony
vs
Kornes, S Tuck, J Selwood, Gibbs, Wells, Anthony

This year, IMO, it's very easy to select your ruckman. There are 3 to 4 rookie ruckmen who could get a game starting this week.

Plus ruckmen are durable

In 2008, Cox played 22/22, Hille played 20/22, Sandilands played 22/22, Petrie played 22/22

Make sure you have a durable backline!

gram v adcock???

will gram be playing more midfield as has been suggested?
Probably Gram but at that price you could move up to a keeper.

Shane Tuck vs. Sam Mitchell.

Pretty confident Mitchell will average 95ish but Tuck dominated last year and could average 100. I really can't decide.

Will Cousins affect Tuck's role?

Well Buddy is clearly the better player and likely to score a fair bit more than SJ IMO but he's about 30k more expensive. I would be avoiding S. Johnson this year, I think he may have peaked in 08 in terms of DT.
