What a shit show Collingwood must be ! How could you commit to that much money without doing due dilagence
Or some form of accountability or at least a sign off from the board

Another Stuff up that rests with big Ed. time to go
Buckley & Eddie under serious pressure next year, serious pressure. Collingwood have to either be playing finals or going close.

Well, I disagree, and think you're seeing a bit of what you're wanting to see and hoping happens, rather than what's actually there.

It is ok to disagree. This is what I have seen over the last four years, not what I want to see. I only hope on the happenings of Richmond, not Collingwood or any other side.

Very low ball comments from someone who is meant to be a 'victim' of a media circus.

Buckley is always the victim. Eade had exactly the same mentality after leaving Collingwood. It is good for the rest of the competition that Buckley remains at Collingwood. They are no chance at all to win a flag whilst he is still there.

Really shit act from a coach to say that publicly in the media about one of his players. Doesn't matter how good or bad that player is.

It just lacks professionalism.

Buckley's mentality is all about Nathan Buckley. He may hide it most the time but it is obvious to anyone who has a clue. Buckley is the last type of bloke who should coach a football club. He just doesn't understand people, he has no awareness. He rubs people up the wrong way and is a micro-manager. It was a massive mistake on Collingwood's behalf to retain him.

Who else could have replaced him? There is no coaches on the market.

Their first choice would be Clarkson, then it went to Ross who is under contract. Mark my words Ross Lyon will be coaching the pies after Freo sack him next season and Bucks gets the sack as well.

You're quite dumb, aren't you?

No chance in hell Lyon coaches anywhere after Freo.

Do you think that's true?
It's interesting that the AFL and the media quite rightly, constantly sell us the message of how we should be supportive of players with MH issues and yet here we have a coach and the media running with how the **** did we end up paying this much for such a spud - do we seriously think mayne would just be sitting at home feeling comfortable with all this attention
Buckley is a right prick the way he treats people who don't please him. No idea how to get the best out of personalities foreign to his own. McGuire as well.

Match made in heaven for everyone happy to see Collingwood out of contention

So I'm gonna assume a certain two pies fans from this thread have never actually held a job since they're defending bucks on this.

Don't want Eade anywhere near Carlton...seems the type of guy who the game has gone past but he's desperately trying to cling on...has enough 'mates' in the industry to get a gig somewhere though.

Collingwood only went down while he was there with Nathan and then as soon as he was sacked at GC was publicly making excuses and saying he regretted taking the job.

If that's how they genuinely feel, and their comfortable doing so, then go ahead.

If you don't express that you've got a problem (and the players have had plenty of opportunity to do so this year, indirectly through effort and body language on the field, which never dipped, and through the club review, where they soundly endorsed Buckley), how are people meant to know?

They can express it in house but airing dirty laundry in public leads to a toxic culture doesn't matter whether it's sport or business.

Is this the latest Buckley bashing thread? Awesome. Not only does his coaching suck, but what's with his hair? I can't stand it. And the sound of his voice! I just can't listen to it anymore. 2 more years of this is unbearable. Forget about North Korea, the CFC is a rogue state. Mayne played well today. Kicked some crucial goals in the last term, but the Pies fell agonisingly short against Richmond at North Port Oval. Buckley was at the game, and after the final siren, he walked off the field side by side with Chris Mayne, and I overheard him say to Mayne 'that was your last game in black & white'. Actually he didn't. I just wanted to know what it feels like to make shit up like Jon Ralph. N u m b e r O n e - Buckley wouldn't say anything publicly that he hadn't already discussed privately with Mayne, so I reckon everybody on this thread should calm the **** down. N u m b e r T w o - Buckley should stop speaking openly & honestly, because it gets him in trouble time & time again. N u m b e r T h r e e - Gary Lyon should learn how to dig deeper. The club probably recruited Mayne because they thought Elliot would never play again (back injury). When Elliot returned in round 4, Mayne was tossed aside, and in the proceeding 18 VFL matches, Mr Mayne has been subjected to constant heckling over the fence. Most commonly 'earn your ****ing money you ****ing piece of shit', or 'you waste of money, pull your ****ing finger out', or 'that goal cost us 1 million dollars you ****ing scumbag', or 'go back to Freo, you're ruining our club, piss off', or '**** off Mayne, you worthless garbage', or 'Mayne you're so pathetic I'm going to go home and write about you & Buckley on Big Footy because I like being angry, and my own life is empty'.

Don't have too much problem with him saying that given Mayne hasn't performed and it was mostly Gubby's decision.

Bucks must of had a say in getting him. He is the coach and would need to know what players they were targeting to see if they fit in the style of footy they play/of if the game plan needs changing. I imagine Christ Scott was well aware of us getting Zach Tuohy as we needed another experienced half back due to Enright retiring and Thurlow coming back from injury.

If he didn't know you should of sacked him. Inexcusable.
