Cotchin v McVeigh v Robinson v Kerr
I am looking at taking 2 of them.
I'd pick these two only becuase we know how good they can be.

Yeah I wouldn't mind the extra 25K also. I can't actaully have Ball and Masten together cause i need to fill a forward and midfield spot so should it be
Masten + Harvey/Higgins vs Ball/A.Selwood + Ziebell/Medhurst
I'd pick these two only becuase we know how good they can be.
It is the way I was leaning. Just a bit worried about McVeigh's health and Kerr's brain explosions.I'd pick these two only becuase we know how good they can be.

Thats a fairly tough choice.
I like Ball, however Ziebell and Medhurst worry me a bit, just as much as both Harvey and Higgins durability.
Ball should play 22 games and a young Ziebell should also barring injury. I think i would go with that combination. Have you considerd Sam Wright or Barry Hall? Both real prospects
Last year was a disaster for him, injury wise.Whats wrong with Mcveigh's health? I think he is really on the right track

Masten + Harvey/Higgins vs Ball/A.Selwood + Ziebell/Medhurst
I would go with ball and medhurst both playing in a likely top four side.
Selwood has had a ripper pre season though.
Mine is:
Ball vs Andrew Walker (+45k)
Walker should get early games and if over his injury from last year should have a great yr going on pre season form. Ball is a bit more expensive and will play 22 for the yr and has also had a good pre season.
Pav or ROK?
Gilbee or Carrazzo?
Hargrave for me on that one......others will let you down....
Masten OR Trengove + 140k???? - for 4th mid spot (should average somewhere similar)
When i put it that way its almost silly to get masten, right??? - hmm, do i starting 3 rookies in mids...... it sure solidifys whole other team (140k helps )
thoughts please,
thanks
im in the exact same position and i have no idea! i dont like the thought of having 3 rookie mids, its just too much for me... but that 140k means i can get rid of kennelly or get an extra premo forward or back!
i guess you gotta weigh up is it worth paying 140k more for masten who has better job securuty and is more experienced, which really is the only difference.
sorry that wasnt very decisive, im still unsure myself
for those of you whinin over the back line here is the perfect backline
grimes
broughton
duffield
hodge
mackie
kennelly
waters
mcguire
nason
won't break the bank, u have 5/7 "keepers" with kennelly and waters both potentially 80 point ave players.
no goddard, he will go down, not up in price.
no enright. he has never scored ave 100 or over, his nab challenge was lucky.
duffield/broughton: both 95-100 point players this year. both showed they are playing even better than last year.
hodge and mackie and grimes: grimes is a gun will get +99, hodge and mackie are both well priced and veterans and get the job done.
In the exact situation as you!!! - pretty funny (im sure thousands others are too)
Trengove must have job security + best 22 status!!! - just imagining rd 1 trengove scoring same as masten or even worse more - whatta waste of 140k - what to do, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh?
anyone....
seriously considering
masten > scully as i already have trengove and martin starting...this would free up a lot of cash..
ziebell > pav possibly
One which i cant decide on...
NicNat or Hille
Hayes V Dal Santo V Boyd
I currently have Hayes in my team, just looking for opinions on whether i should swap for either Dal Santo or Boyd or keep Hayes?
