Not really an x vs y but can I get some thoughts on:

Daniel Connors, Tom Scully, and Jack Trengove

Edit:

Also, Harry O'Brien v Coutenay Dempsey

With Foley out for at least the first 6 games of the year, Connors will get plenty of midfield time, looks to be a ball magnet.

Scully and Trengove have both failed to impress, Initially i thought Trengove would be the better option this season, but i am starting to lean towards Scully from what i saw against Fremantle.

Harry O'Brien scored 91 and 144 in his two NAB games.
Looks more like playing a quarterback role across half back and might be a good pick this year.

From what i've seen of Dempsey, for less money you could go Cale Hooker who has averaged over 100 in his NAB games so far and could possibly have a breakout year..? Don't see Dempsey improving too much on last year..?

Tough one..maybe Gumby if he gets on the park but they are all risks of getting a regular game.

Dangerfield v Ballantyne v Hall v Betts
I'd pick Dangerfield, more midfield time will see his scores rise. The other three can score very inconsistently.

My question is Cassisi v Vince

Thanks

Vince. Looks set to fire and is in a far better team.

Mine:
Waters v Schoenmakers v Greenwood?

this is a hard one, all 3 have been in and out of my side, and atm i have Waters due to getting an extra $80k??? to spend on a premium.

Brad Johnson vs Barry Hall vs Robert Murphy

with johno u know what ur getting week in week out, but the other 2 are having great preason and both could rise

That's tough man!!!

You've got 2 ageing stars and an injury prone almost gun.
I'd lean towards Murphy just on age and his 08 ave

I'm trying to decide between SJ & Boomer?
SJ had some injuries and haven't heard much to say he's back to 100%, where as Boomer is ageing and now competing with a lot of much younger mids that Scott may prefer in the middle relegating Boomer to a permanent forward???

Thoughts please

boomer just, dont knows why but just.

banner vs moles? who will play rd 1?

I have another one. LOL! :D

Selwood and Rohan

VS

Cooney and Ballentyne

Either Rohan/Rockcliff (Rockcliff is on my bench) or Ballentyne will be starting as my 7th forward.

Advantage with taking the Cooney/Ballentyne combo is that I have no rookies starting in the forward line.

What does everyone else think?

Tough one, Hmm Cooney and Ballen are interesting I rekon they could outscore Selwood and Rohan but imo Selwood will be more consistent then Cooney... I would take the risk and go Selwood n Rohan :thumbsu:

Conners v Martin v Morabito?

Cheers

Cheers mate re: above answer. ;)

I reckon you should go with Martin, purely on the basis that he looks like playing all 22 games this year where as Conners and Morabito I'm not so sure. When Foley comes back Conners may get squeezed out.

hey all

mayne vs hall??

I'm toying with having both in my side, but if I had to choose I'd take big bad Bazza and hope he fits the bill of a cashcow early in the season, then offload him b4 either a brain-snap or an old man type injury strikes.

I also have forward dillemmas, namely:

Mayne or Ballantyne??
and...
Ben Warren or Sam Wright??

Ballentyne and Warren mate. Both are in for big seasons I feel. Maybe has to rely on kicking goals for a big score while Ballantyne will gets lots of points from tackles and goals. Warrne is the second lead up forward behind Petrie so the ball will go to him lots.

Loos easy this one (well for me anyways) LOL!

Malceski as he is cheaper and showing more in NAB Cup and practice matches.

Watson as Vince is injured and in doubt for round one with a hamstring.

Murphy as he has more of an X factor.

Malceski looks like he is nearly back to his old self

Vince even tho watson is a gun i never go someone who just got the captiancy may cause some problems in there first year

Buchanan if he gets enough game time

Schoenmakers vs Ladson
&
Rohan vs L.Jetta
