Watson or Rockliff?
Tough. They both have same bye and Rocky is more expensive. I'd say that Rocky has the higher ceiling but Watson is probably more consistent. If Rocky gets to play full time mid, then he'll go bang more often. Depends on what you're after, but either way you can't go wrong i'd say.

McEvoy & T.Mitchell
vs.
Cox & Buddy

Cheers. Same for you I reckon. It'll be interesting to see how Titchell goes in his second year, I also have McEvoy and am hoping he can lift his average back up to the 90's at Hawthorn. I'd be worried about Buddy. I have him but I'm worried. Cox is a gun, obviously, but I'm a little concerned about how he'll be managed and how that'll effect his scoring.. I think the first pair, slightly cheaper as well.

I think start with Cox & Buddy in the first round then assess

Any help with this, my last position I am battling with..
Higgins. Dunno if Elliott can do well against Freo. Matt Wright about this price, consider if you think he won't tag, now that Douglas is out.

Swan or Ablett?
Really?? That's your big dilemma.... I'm going both, so there.

Gunston or Roughead? Everyone's talking about Gunston stepping up this year, but Roughead is the reigning Coleman medallist! If anything, I'd say Roughead is going to get even more of the play towards him.

My worry with Roughead is he'll probably play less time in ruck where he'd get 20-30 points, given they have Mcevoy and Hale, and with no Buddy, I'd anticipate that Buddy would be a proper stay at home fwd.

Now maybe more time up forward will do him good? No doubt he'll smash out some big scores and kick a bag, but like all key position players, there is the chance of a bad game if the ball just doesn't go to him.

Guston plays a more DT-friendly position, but how will it transfer, finished the season super strong and does look pretty good.

It's tough - I'd probably go Roughy just because he has a higher ceiling.

For me - Rocky v Libba?

Good point re: Roughy. I'll see if the spare cash from Roughy > Gunston can be spent better.. I'm not yet convinced though.

I have both Rocky and Libba. To pick only one, I'd go Rocky. More consistent, and I'm certain he will spend minimal time forward, especially if we're getting smashed by the Hawks.

Yeah I had both, but had 100k to upgrade to Swan, so feel that really needs to be done.

So now it's deciding which to upgrade, I like that Rocky has the fwd ability, main concern is your hellish draw and whether he'll be affected.
While Libba could cop a hard tag if Griffen goes down, as he sometimes does, while he seems more SC prominent.

Hey guys, need some help for my final forward spot in Fantasy Elite. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. Options are:

C Dixon, A Black, S Mayes, A Goodes, J Grant, J Blair, S Crameri, R Gray, B Howlett, J Winderlich, S Higgins.

I am looking for whoever has the most upside. I am leaning towards Dixon/Goodes

Obviously it'd be Goodes if he was at his peak, but he's getting on in years and constantly under injury cloud nowadays (won't play the first few rounds as far as I'm aware, same goes for Blair, Winderlich and maybe Grant too) so I'd stay away from them unless it's for depth. If it was me I'd probably rank them as follows:
1. Gray - seems to be over his injury troubles, will generally score over 70 every week and possibly average low 80s at a guess.
2. Higgins/Dixon - Higgins has always had scoring potential and looks good at the moment (although this has been said every year since before the AFL even existed) while Dixon showed he can score before injury last year but still a young KPP who hasn't had a great preseason in regards to DT.
3. Mayes - can score, just needs to keep away from those second year blues.
4. Howlett
5. Crameri
6. Black

For Ultimate Footy... on field this week

Dalhaus vs Macrae; and
Atley, Golby, Luke McDonald (need 1)

First one is a toughie. Macrae will get more midfield time and seems in excellent form. On the other hand, West Coast (at least pre-Simpson, hard to judge now) struggle to defend against small, crumbing forwards, so Dahl could be headed towards a big day. I would pick Macrae, but if you're low on scoring, go for Dahl (assuming you're using category based scoring? If not, Macrae).

Not sure on the second one, but I'd probably lean towards McDonald.

Thanks, other option is to drop Darling and play both Dahlhaus and Macrae. It's points so leaning towards Macrae.
