WHE vs Cam McCarthy

If I downgrade one to a cut price rookie I can get one more keeper in they midfield

Might be better to wait and see what the rookie choises end up being.

Out of the 2, WHE probably a better choice, will score more consistently than McCarthy.

WHE for me, I think he can average 70-75, whereas I can't McCarthy averaging for than 65

Thanks, I guess a running type will be more consistent than a KPF under a Ross Lyon team dependent on mid supply

I don't think McCarthy will make enough money so I'd go WHE, however I'd keep and eye on Bowes, dubbed a rolls royce, 30+ disposals in a NEAFL final, been in the acadamy system since he was 13 and will play a cruisey role off half back.

I've toyed around with converting Roughead at F4 to Taranto (F4) and WHE (F5) ? ........thoughts?

My thoughts are:
1.
I am guessing Roughead and rookie probably averages 130 SC points (worse case) ....Taranto and WHE average 150 SC points (optimistically)

2. Roughead retention provides good JS over Taranto & WHE ?

3. My F5 rookie being $123K will appreciate more than $200K + ???

Shaw & Lloyd vs Simmo & Tuohy?
Shaw and Lloyd for me
I think Simpson will drop back to ~95 average this year
Lloyd looks good for at least a 90-92 average

Shaw v Doc v Adams v Laird - Pick 2, taking starting price into account.
Shaw and Laird
Get Doch later, hopefully a little bit cheap; Adams durability a big question, so see how he starts the year

Shaw and Doc for me, even with starting price.
The other guys are probably going to improve their averages, but questionable durability imo. Depends how risky your other lines are I guess.
Seeing so many players in all sides that have long history's of injuries ......

Yeah just looking at last year though Shaw's price fluctuated a lot more than Doc (11 scores under 100, 3 under 70). Once Doc went above $500k he stayed above $500k (6 scores under 100, zero under 70). Shaw's history reads better than Doc though, although Doc is still young. It's a tough one.

Yeah would love to fit both in despite higher price, may be forced to only start one though if rookie shuffling requires some extra $$. My other lines are pretty safe, very close to GnR.
