Last 2 posts:

Grimes i reckon, saves some cash and should score just as well as broughton at worst.

Mine is 2 of goodes, pav and boomer?, currently have goodes and pav

boomer has had a very good preseason and i saw him play against geelong and he looked as fit as ever.

still a hard choice for me. personally i'd be locking in pav, and then it's a matter of whether you want consistent good scores throughout the season or some potentially incredible scores and maybe also some very quiet patches.

I have Libba and Bewick...of the two I think I would choose Libba (haven't gone pittard as he is so slight and underdeveloped)

I have a couple:

Irons v tapscott v Atley v bennell

and

Brodie Smith v Buckley v hibberd

tapscott or atley will both play a fair few games! bennell will play 18-22 and would be something different to the norm of swallow harris. But imo Tapscott! heard very good things of him! and he is starting.

Hibberd, missing this week but will play next.

Mine...

Adcock vs Hurley?

and

R.Tarrant vs Otten vs Hibberd + 80k

Hurley over Adcock for me. He'll be playing up forward this year and it's his 3rd year and we might see a nice rise in his average. With the second question, I only have Otten. Hibberd's out this week, but supposedly will play next week. Otten may be used as a sub so it's 6 to one, half a dozen to the other.

For me,

Hibberd v Toy v Stanley.

Need two.

i've got stanley locked in, the other tow you could possibly toss a coin, the only reason i am leaning towards hibberd is that he has a mature, afl ready body, whereas toy may take a little longer to develop

Swan Vs Pendlebury

I've got Swan, you just can't argue with his stats last year. Pendles looks good though, but if you can afford it, I think Swan has the edge.

Mine:

Struggling with 2nd ruck choice. D.Hale vs J.Trengove vs J.Fraser (and play Spencer from the bench)

Hale only if you have Petrie..

Grundy (def) and McKernan (fwd) vs Gilbee and Tapscott.. last move being made..

Swan if got the cash...

Savage vs bewick ???

2nd ruck... im glad i never needed to worry bout this... cox and sandi

but to help u out! trngrove is good coz he will kick goals, as for hale i dont rate him at all!!had a couple good games at north that was it and at hawks he has apparently been amazing (hmm hard to believe) j fraser, GC will rely heavily on him and i think its a good roughie!! not many will have him and you never no

ok for mine i want 2 of these:

k.hunt - coad - stanley - toy

Stanley and Toy.. but all 4 are valid choices

Grundy and Tapscott would be the best two of that lot, not sold on McKernan's job security and with Gilbee out that should make your decision even easier.

Last decision for me is which two of the following?

Atley, Savage, D Harris

- North have many injury concerns, which will result in Atley getting a few more games than he would of otherwise.
- Harris should be pencilled in for every game at GC. They will aim to have experienced players play and youngsters rotate.

Stanley vs Coad vs Toy

I was going trought the same 3 and ended up going stanley, afl ready body means he can play out the year( or the first 10 rounds, coz thats all youll need him for) and he is a great tackler, but tbh all three could be in your side, theyll all make you a bit of coin.

My last one is:

T.Boak
($471,300) VS J.Kennedy(Syd) ($394,100) + $77,200

Had boak in since my first draft, but after his massive pre season scroes where i presume he was running round by himself, im a bit worried that he will be hevily tagged and wont handle it that well, kennedy would be the only other id go for in that sort of range or perhaps ber-groin.
HELP!!!

I would go Libba, Atley and Bewick. The new interchange rules will suit Bewick and he's been exceptional this pre-season.

Sewell v Mitchell v Mundy ?

I'd go Mitchell. A little more consistent than the others IMO.

I've got a couple I'm undecided on.

Backline: Otten or R. Tarrant?

Most would say Otten but this sub rule has me sceptical.

Forward Line: Bennell or Knights

T.Boak

I have been wondering about this as well, my decision was betwen:

Boak and Sylvia Vs Kennedy and Green

I'm still unsure on this but currently have gone with Boak and Sylvia

I'd go with Otten over Tarrant, even if Otten is used as a sub in the first couple of weeks I think he will force his way into the side and be a safe bet for 60+ anything more will be a bonus. I can't see Tarrant scoring over 60 on regular occasions.

Benell (i presume you mean Jamie), has had a great pre-season and should take the next step this year as a player but still would expect his scores to fluctuate week to week as he plays so many different roles in the team. I'd go with Knights and just pray he stays on the park!

atley should get some games due to north melbournes injury list, its really a toss up between the other 3, bewick probably has better job security than irons n libba, but those 2 have more upside if they stay in the team, especially libba
