Didak signed a 3 year deal and will be with us till at least the end of 2013.
Reid and Steele signed 2 year deals to the end of 2012.

The rumour from the Claremont Football Club is that Blair is homesick and wants to come home - and thats from the club's rooms .... he played like that last weekend too..

Rumour from WA has it that Meds wants to come home to his mum too..but that might be wishful thinking.

Blair is from Gippsland. The meds rumour has been doing the rounds for awhile.

True. I have alot of faith in him. Has all the footy qualities to make it. His Old Man debunked the homesick rumours awhile back but who knows if that has changed. I really hope not. These rumours always pop up this time of year if a player is not in the seniors. Blight has been battleing alot of niggling injuries so hasn't really had the chance to put together good form and push for selection.

I will admit I have only seen glimpses of what he is truly capable of, but I do think Blight will become a capable senior footballer eventually. Still has a way to go but if he was at a lesser club he surely would have played a decent amount of footy in the ones.

yes...apologies. I keep getting the names mixed up. Its Blight not Blair. There's always rumours about WA guys coming home...the only different things about the Blight thing is that its usually an ex-wa player who has had some success in Victoria...and its not like Blight has done much so far.

Dawes came close to leaving last because of lack of opportunities then.
He was nearly traded to Melbourne.

Dawes cannot go anywhere he is currently under contract and i believe the Collingwood hirerachy will do everything to re sign him soon.

Players like Medhurst,Anthony,Cloke,Goldsac need re signing as soon as possible or the Gold Coast will pounce...........One thing is offreing more money but the chance of playing finals or winning premierships is a big factor,Gold Coast are at least 5-10 years away from real success,

As Eddie once said...........Why would a player want to leave the Biggest club in the land ?................ We don't hold anyone that doesn't want to be at collingwood,we move them on !
