It's a lot worse with Valhalla.
Absolutely agree.

Loved Origins but that was my first AC. I was really hoping to love Valhalla but it just felt so repetitive very early on. Every now and then I go back to it but it never lasts long.

i doubt it. you could abuse it and charge back or something.

I dont mean to sound like a campaigner. but if you want or need to pay for a game in installments. perhaps its time to look into how they spend their money.

I don't disagree haha. I'd never even considered it before tbh.

When i was in my late teens i had credit card debts and was miserable. but since i got them cleaned up ive been able to save and far better with money. I think thats why i hate the idea of those payment plan things.

But i remember over the last 2 years or so reading a bunch of stories of people in their late teens/early 20s who are paying 100s a month on afterpay and alike services. because you pay them over X installments it doesnt feel like a issue, but they put themselves in a cycle of it.

My general rule is now if i cant afford it then i dont need it right now. there have been things i didnt get because i had surprise vet problems or car issues and thats where a chunk of my extra savings went.

Yeah I'm very much the same. Afterpay is a curious one because you're right, people fall into the cycle of it and probably end up buying more than they might otherwise.

He was wanting to get that 2K23 Champions edition ($250 or something) that included League Pass because he thought it would work out cheaper that way.

Ironically he spent over $15k on an emergency for his dog 3 months ago. I assume that must be why he was asking the question. I love my dogs but if a quote came back at that price I'd have one less dog...

Of course Sony would add Gamelists to the PS5 and overlooking the option to alphabetise your gamelists (so you might have 20 Gamelists and the one you want to reach you have to scroll through most of them) or sort the games when they’re in the game list. So in the end, it will be much quicker finding a game if you head over to “Installed“ and have your games sorted by “Name (A to Z)”. As it’s been since launch. 😂

I'd assume you have to be sort of interested in the history and the setting of AC games to get much out of them. I had two major cracks at Valhalla, one where I never quite finished the story, and one about a year later where I finished that off and then did the Ireland DLC. I expect I'll return at some point and do the Paris one.

Paris one sucked.

2, 3, 4 are my favs. Origins was good, everything else has been mediocre.

The Desmond story kept it intersting.

Any good PS Plus deals out at the moment? Have a renewal coming up and not playing a lot at the moment so prefer not to pay top $.
Haven't noticed any for ages.

wont be any PS+ deals till black friday when they do the 25% off thing.

Normally there's some around EoFY, but I don't remember any PS deals this one just gone
