Shocking news, I really hope he comes out of it and makes a full recovery.

From a few of the comments on this thread it sounds like this kind of thing happens all too often??

Ahh man. When I first saw this thread I thought it was a joke.

I was expecting to see a Picture of FEV(the tram) with his knee into Polak's Ribs....

Speedy Recovery Please.

Walked past there within must have been 10 minutes of it happening. Didn't know it was Polak but i swore to my mate it was Richard Tambling nearby. Not a pleasant sight, but the ambos were already on the scene sorting it out.

sad to hear, but the question needs to be asked, what was he doing on a tram track anyway? surely he wasnt just walkin on the tracks? BAC must have been high.

Let us hope it wasnt and was a freak accident, other wise, there will be another thing footballers cannot do

Why does the question have to be asked moron?!

The guy is laying in a coma and some hero on an internet forum wants answers. Get a life you ____head!

And he wasn't just walking on the tracks he was jogging accross the road with his mates idiot!

People like you make me sick.

Some poor block is laying in a coma and could well be brain damaged you you ____heads want to make jokes about it. Well one of you made a joke and the other two childish little pricks decided to laugh about it which makes you just as bad as the dumb ____ who made the sick joke. Let's just hope none of your family is as unfortunate as Polak was.

Pea________ deserves a permanent ban from this site for such a joke.
These guys have obviously never known anyone personally who has had a brain injury. It is an incredibly stressfull time, paticularly if it is a family member, and you just don't know what they are going to wake up like.
Poor form fellas.

I almost got hit by a tram in the city once and I hadn't had a single drink. All it took was a momentary lapse of concentration while crossing the road.

Alcohol isn't always involved in these sorts of things.

Lets hope Graham comes out of the coma with no brain damage and makes a speedy recovery.
This incident brings back the memory of hearing about young Peter Motley getting critically injured in a car accident after training all those years ago.
It was devastating news and put things into perspective.

Those that feel the need to make jokes in this thread need to be banned...no qestions asked.

Going home after a club function at 10.30 - 11.00pm, so it's fair to say that if alcohol was involved it would have been from a social drink at the function, not out partying.
