Cos it always works out so well? Ted bailleu or Napthine? George bush snr (actuall he was the best)
I love the fact you focused on two Libs. Now do State Labor since 99. (Because the last 21 out of 24 years have been Labor) And tell us the new state debt number released yesterday with the daily interest the tax payers are now paying aling with how our credit rating now is…..

RFKjr is the scariest appt nomination to a position in US political history. He's a nutter and will definitely cost lives. God I hope this doesn't happen.
You’ve got to start be more open minded and celebrate it.
Leopard face eating will be the funnest part of this entire shit fest!

I don’t understand how you or anyone could actually think this.

It is TRUMP’s party. He is the only relevant factor at play.

You are ****ing kidding if you think any GOP Senator will reject any pick.
Everyone of them will be confirmed.

If anyone tries to vote against, they will be out on their arse before you know it.

How many times do we need to learn this lesson over and over?

To this point

Nah there will be some Repubs that push back knowing that;
1. they won't get voted out and
2. then they can use it down the line as a "not all of us fell into like with Trump/Maga".
They did it last time he was in charge too.

They won't push back on the serious stuff, just the small stuff that the majority will vote for.

he also can't run again now, and will be lame duck after the next midterms. those who aren't up for re-election in the midterms don't really have anything to fear from going against him.

I actually feel the opposite.

This is a test for who will be loyal and who can’t be trusted.

They have a 3 seat majority, so can afford to lose 1-2 spots.
There will be no mercy or understanding for defectors.

This basically

they have 20 senate seats up in 2026, another 19 in 2028.

You’re working on the basis there will be another election in the US in 4 years.
Seems long odds from here.

Regardless of whether he runs in 2028, he is going to have enormous power in the party until he dies.
His preferred candidates are going to be running.

But on your point and following that logic
- the House always re-elects in the midterms, so that is all of them.
-and you have 1/3 of the Senate who just won thanks in part to him, 1/3 going up in 2026 with him in office, so at least all House plus 2/3 of Senators apply there.
