Actually the "volunteer fire fighters association" is a self -formed group from the right wing Hunters and Fishers party, and are not the same as the CFS, or its equivalent in any other state.

A bloke just made up his own volunteer organisation when he disagreed with the actual fire service and quit. They have a number of policies at odds with the official fire authorities, including not believing in climate change.

They probably, know more about fires than me, but shouldn't be looked upon as representative of all volunteers.

Seems the ALP's Victorian Premier Andrews [I'm not a fan let it be said] isn't unhappy with the co-operation he's had from the PM and Government, if anything he's praising their efforts re the Victorian situation.

Him in Hawaii is still pretty raw to those that care. It doesn’t matter that him being in Oz wouldn’t have made any difference. But the people that live in these areas aren’t worried about that, and if I was one, I’d probably be outraged as well as he rolls in. Politically, he’d have been better off creating a ‘war bunker’ of sorts and isolating himself from those on the ground. Reality is though that some shake his hand enthusiastically and others spit on him. The next reality is that the commonwealth government had no control over the current bushfire season, they’re better off planning for $ influence into the future seasons.

A self formed group with thousands and thousands of volunteer firefighters as members. I can't see where they have said they don't believe in climate change, what they are saying is it's not the main culprit in the current fires more to do with land management factors and green tape. I guess it's down to a personal take on what they're saying.

Two people have been arrested after trespassing at Prime Minister Scott Morrison's home and life-streaming themselves.

Two people have been arrested after jumping a fence at Prime Minister Scott Morrison's family home and vandalising it live on social media.

A man, 33, and an 18-year-old woman have been arrested after being found at the Sutherland Shire home.

They allegedly filmed themselves vandalising the home and live-streamed it online.

Police confirmed they were called to the property on Friday morning.


'Two people have been arrested over allegedly trespassing at a home in the Sutherland Shire region today, just after 11.30am,' a spokeswoman said.

Increasing the population through immigration is the only thing the government currently know how to do to stop a recession. It keeps housing prices inflated and continues downward pressure on wage growth, which only serves the high end of town. The current off-shore detention centres are just an expensive dog and pony show to try and convince voters they're tough on immigration (while continuing to ignore the larger of asylum seekers that come via plane).

So we aren't ever going to have that conversation because there's too much money involved for anyone in a position of power to have any interest in stopping it.
