None of that is relevant to the point that I made in that post, which was that the action taken was not in support of BLM in it’s American context, but rather a local concern.

So the question remains what support of Australian footballers shown in the past to indigenous players who have died in police custody?

Yes, shame on him. He should only be reading the guardian, watching ABC and all the other lef- I mean impartial news sources in Australia.

There's no shame in watching Fox News, reading the Herald-Sun or listening to 3AW - the shame is in not being able to differentiate between opinion and news.

Must be hard encountering people who dare to disagree with you, hey? Better accuse them of lacking critical thinking! Especially after you lose an argument...

I dont mind people disagreeing with me, its the ones who refuse to accept any additional information or view on the subject and just double down.

I have changed my opinion on something before. Its not hard. Little bit scary. But it happens.

So apart from PR stunts what real action are they going to do to show their real support for oppressed minorities?

Bringing attention to it isnt good enough for you? Do you want them to quit their jobs and go over and start changing an entire society?

No, all I'm asking is where in the past have they shown their support for indigenous Australians who have died in police custody.
I think that's a fair question.

Why can’t they start now?

But you would then say that you cant support everything so they shouldnt try because keep politics out of footy.

That's easily answered with a Google search. The AFL does a hell of a lot for communities.

In this case, they are showing solidarity with oppressed people.

If you're still going to complain about that, you'd probably still complain regardless of what action they take

Yep. Utterly transparent.
