A positive from all of this is at least it's only a 3 man leadership group, unlike previous where we've had 6 7 or 8 players on it. So that's a positive.
Yeah but its even stranger. We've taken two captains, because the leadership workload is too big for one guy.

But now we stuffed that burden on three guys, instead of 6 or 7. Instead of having one Captain with 6 guys to support him, we've now got 2 Captains with one person supporting them.

It’s literally just two captains instead of 1. The world is not ending, the sun will rise tomorrow
You could use the sun will rise tomorrow for anything, lets face it. Child molesters mass release from jail... but the sun will rise tomorrow y'all!

The club is getting pounded over this. They are actively contacting social media pages to push positivity.

I don't think I like that at all.
Have they contacted Bigfooty yet? Actually I assume they have some posters already on here spruiking that the sun will come up tomorrow.

I know emotions are running high and thats fine. Lets keep the personal comments out of it though. Noone here made the decision.

Calm down lol

The amount of overreactions in this thread is crazy
Yeah your probably right, i've read KT's email most of which was classic corporate speak.
Lauding our history, fawning over the passion of our fans before the inevitable BUT where our history
is trashed and our fans ignored. You know the old tried and true tactic of dealing with objectors by
blowing smoke up their arse before slamming the door in their face.

Inb4 the next phase is employed i.e.
"we need to move on and put this behind us..... for the betterment of the club"
or some banal Facebook tripe philosophy of "to move forward we can't be looking back"
Reckless indifference by an ego driven coach will be dressed up as brave.
KH would need all the dressing up he can hide behind coz as an emperor without clothes
he's a pedestrian plodder whose hijacked a proud club for his own ends.

As to your "calm down lol" again your probably right.
When your being bent over I suppose it's best to assume the position and be thankful for the lubrication,
in the form of an email from our CEO telling us how much we're valued.

Ok so I've seen the club video incl a snippet from the presser. Primus and Cassisi pop up to give their endorsement. The spin seems way over the top. They know they don't really know how this will pan out but are giving the big sell. I'm sure they've made the decision based on what they're working with but for Hinkley to flat out say this will give us the best chance of winning games is over the top bollocks. The good thing is they've now back themselves into a corner.

That doesn't say much for Boaky, poor comment Hinkley.

Inb4 "imagine how bad it would've been without co-captains" after a 3-19 season.

The Club is getting a lot of practice at desperation. We’ll soon see the position of General Manager, Crisis Control being advertised. We have GMs for everything else already.
