Not unlike the menThey just freeze when the ball goes inside 50.
yep odea just got high tackled on the 50, play onThis is pretty awful but it would be nice to get a free in front of goals like Essendon do.
she goes in hard which is great to see, always seems to put in 100%I like O’Dea’s effort
Other teams move the ball so much better than we do
Not unlike the men
The obsession with creating this running maul , contested style, where the opposition just flood back and spread when they get it, is not working. We can't score, we have no transition ability, it's just crap. Then our opponents have loose outside runners everywhere and stream end to end in a heartbeat.Other teams move the ball so much better than we do
Thats the difference. Essendon getting lots of gifts. This is pretty awful but it would be nice to get a free in front of goals like Essendon do.

Most of Essendons score has come form free kicks & 50's.At 3/4 time we have had more possessions, more contested marks, more inside 50s, more of just about everything yet we have not kicked a ******* goal. That must tell us something.

I'd just like to have seen them try something else.At the end of the day, no game plan is going to work if you don't have players with the skill level to execute it.
It's evident that they have created a good culture with players who consistently give high effort no matter the situation. This is about all we could've hoped for this season. The key now is to add/develop quality players so that the effort can start to be rewarded on the scoreboard.
