Saturday 5th of March. (6 quarters) 10am at Alberton Oval. Free Entry.

Expecting the AFL side to be cut down to 23 or so players, and McKenzie, Frederick and Skinner could play here.

Not sure how Bergman and Jackson are tracking, hopefully they are ok to play soon. I expect Farrell is still way off from playing.

Dumont is in.

Trent Burgoyne has signed and is confirmed in.

Corcoran who played in the intraclub missout.

SANFL listed players that didn't appear in the intraclub match: 1 of Nick or Ethan Moore, Wildman, Strange, Westbrook, Butcher, Appleton, Aldridge, Samblich, Sareen, Montgomery, Saunders, Roberts.

SANFL players from last year unsigned: Wong, Dickson, Nicholas.

Maggies Side:
F: Weidemann - Surman - Williams

Why six quarters with such limited numbers available to Port? WWT will win by 40 goals with twice as many players.
Last year against Sturt they advertised 6 quarters but instead they did 4 and just subbed on an entire new Sturt side at half time. Perhaps this may happen again.

Last night's Cents v Souths game is the only other 6 quarter game over the Snafle pre-season games, but no doubt they both had a cast of thousands to use. I doubt that we would've asked for it, and I bet if we'd objected we would've been told to like it or lump it.

Being a trial game we'll probably name a very big squad. Don't be surprised if basically every single SANFL contracted player is named (or close to it)

Shaun Burgoyne started off in the back pocket

Got any idea when club will come out and confirm conditions.

Given the government has said 100% capacity at all seated outdoor venues, but density limits will remain in standing areas of the ground, you'd think that would be enough to let people in but maybe a capped number.

We are at level 1 restrictions which is called 3/4 density ie 3 people every 4 sq m

Article made just now.

"The game against the Eagles will take place at Alberton Oval from 10am with free entry for spectators.

Those attending Saturday’s game will only be able to enter through the Russell Ebert gate on Queen Street and are reminded to scan in using the QR code on the gate.

Patrons will not be allowed access to the field of play during the breaks or until players have left the field at the end of the game.

The Port Club will be open from 8:30am for coffee and drinks as well as limited food offerings and some catering will be available on the concourse area.

The Port Store will have all of your Port Adelaide merchandise needs covered with doors opening at 10am.

It is recommended masks be worn in situations where physical distancing is not possible."

Trent Burgoyne is signed and will play here. It could be the first time Trent and Jase Burgoyne wear the Prison Bars together.

Kinda cool, who knows if Trent may be a late bloomer.

Skinner, Visentini, Pasini, Frederick named as emergencies for the Power, Motlop omitted from last week's side. Hope they get a run in this game.

Seriously tempted to make the early start.
