I don't care about the 'Magpies' and 'Power' I care about PAFC.
In this competition it is the Port Adelaide Football Club and it's emblem is the Power, cannot be disputed.

Wasn't unrelated and the arguments to the contrary then were as silly as they are now.
As I've said before, if an entity chooses to join a competition under certain conditions they can't complain later when they want to change their mind and are told no. Port joined knowing they had to be distinctive from Collingwood and should consider themselves lucky they've been given the opportunity to begin with. Don't bite the hand that feeds you. Especially if there is history of said entity complaining about uniforms of rival clubs like the Crows or Suns for even sillier reasons.
It doesn't affect me personally but neither does 99.5% of all things posted. This is a discussion board of opinions on subject matters, not a test of if someone has a dog in the fight. I feel like I keep repeating myself on that, and exclusively to Port fans. You have your own little est 1870 board where you can all nod in agreement at random bullshit but as this topic is placed in the general discussion, disagreement and debating is inevitable.

We want the PBs in showdowns. That’s it. 2 games a year to show off our heritage on the biggest footy stage in this state.
No we do not want to put the old magpie emblem on it, we’ll put the PAFC logo on it which we just updated. No we do not want to be called the Magpies. We will never ever want to be called the Magpies in the AFL.
Everyone arguing “BuT wHen WiLl iT EnD??!?” At worst, if the showdowns get approved we maybe argue to wear PBs in certain other important games. We aren’t trying to Usurp Collingwood. Our history and tradition is a point of difference for us in an 18 team national competition, we’re just trying to use that to our advantage. It’s not about trying to be like Collingwood, it’s about OUR history and OUR identity.
Now I’m sure that clears everything up. Everyone can go home now.

If I was a Carlton supporter I wouldn't be mouthing off about any club. Since 2000 your team has been the most embarrassing disgrace to the league and that includes Essendon who got done for peptides and haven't won a final for 16 years.
