That was a seriously ****ing good win. And like it or lump it, thats down to Hinkley and the coaches who came up with a gameplan to counteract how St Kilda play and really nullify it. That fast movement out of the backline, trying to play through the middle, it really put St Kilda under a lot of pressure and they didnt handle it.

Bergman...he played some sort of game. He's having a very good year. Defensively he was amazing.
Aliir worked into it, McEntee had some good moments, Pep is just a star, Boak was great when the game was on the line. Jezza as well, was a monster with the game on the line. Butters was good. Teakle showed quite a bit more than last week.
Was only really Lord that looked a bit lost out there.

We've been getting screwed by the umpires for years. What's good to see is that the players didn't drop their heads every time a poor call was made. They just kept at it and it eventually paid off.

As I’ve been saying the move to send Bergman back a month ago was a smart call and has really protected our defence.
I think butters pressure through the midfield tonight was outstanding.
So many insane multiple efforts where he seemed to teleport to the heels of whoever had the ball.

Teakle stays with the play, problem is he has no smarts. Doesn't matter who the other team puts in the ruck, they will generally find a way to beat him.

You just know that when he's tackled he'll be called holding the ball. I think that's the one in the first quater where JHF grabbed is round the neck as he's gathering the ball and then driven head first into the ground with two blokes in his back and they called it holding the ball. The umpires and just hate him. He's copped more frees against than any player in the comp. I'm sick of the bias against him and our team.The commentators never defend him either. Maybe Kornes should make a a point of it on the Footy Show

Recon the umps gave the Saints around 3 goals.With the biased shitty umpiring.
We looked in huge trouble at 1/4.Coaches restructured and we got back in the game.
Really good win,we deserved that win.
