Honestly I put it down to one of our worst losses ever in our AFL history, it's down there with our losses to GC and GWS in their entry year.

Our footballers are not serious about taking this club forward

Nah, not even in the same ball park as losing to Richmond for our 140th anniversary game

I'll put it out there. We are an average club that talks it up about being professional etc etc. Sure we beat hawthorn when they were dominating. We will dominate Brisbane next week but scratch the surface, we are a bunch of one way runners run by administrators afraid to make the tough decisions. We have a head coach that has continually shown a distinct lack of intestinal fortitude to drop underperforming players. We accept mediocre performances, some crap mantra about being brave etc etc. I'm so angry with this performance. We saw it in the last half last week but people put it down to being so far ahead. Well I would argue that this performance indicates clearly where we are as a football club.

The last thing we need to do is claim this was a bad night.

everyone from the players, to the coaches need to stand up and take responsibility for this piss weak effort.

also some of the players have to pay a heavy price for this performance as well. If we only make 1 or 2 changes for Brisbane i'll be rather pissed off.

we really need to be making 3-4 changes and make a point that this will not be tolerated any more.

Over to you Ken and the selection committee, do they have the balls to make a stance? (i think I may already know the answer to this.)

players i'd like to see given a chance next week vs Brisbane.

Atley, Eddy, Monfries, Howard.

All the resources, all the backing you could possibly need. Great stadium, good crowds, huge sponsorship. Even international interest.

Yet we continually push out a green, runny poo.

It's the list, it's the coaches. Hinkley made the wrong call and should have gutted everything when he came in. Still, he and the list have done enough to get us in the right place off-field.

But we're past that now. Now it's about performance. Time to go in a different direction.

i lasted until 3 minutes left in the 2nd quarter

i wasnt watching that shit anymore

couldnt even tell you what the score is now and dont care. If its anything im thinking we'll still be about 50 down

About the same time I pulled the plug, too.

The warning signs were there when we got outscored in the second half, at home, by the weakest Hawthorn side since 2009, despite a 10-goal headstart.

We were lazy, inefficient, sloppy and everything in between.

But we made one change because apparently the coaches are as deluded as half the supporter base.

And here we are.

Put your hand up if you didn't see this coming at some point this season.

The person that put their hand up: welcome to supporting Port

I blame Ken more for Hartlett's insipid display tonight, then Hamish himself. If Ken was a real coach he would have banished him to the twos along time ago.

If Ken was a real coach, he should have actively told Hartlett to leave. Not tried to get him to stay.

That's a weird game, I actually don't recall losing like that since about 2012, not in margin or dominance just the manor we were torn apart was completely different to the usual technique. Will be interesting if it happens again.
