“Brogan and Chaplin look like they’re going to be pretty close to being ready for that game. The rest of the guys are 100 per cent, so if they don’t prove themselves to us over the next two weeks and the guys who get their chance tomorrow have a good game- its going to be pretty tough for them.”

That is from this article on the Power website so im not sure what is going to happen with White and such if Chaplin is fit to play

Does this re-assess your expectations for this season at all or is it just a "one off"?

Well our feathered friends down the road have a theory that anytime Freo win a preseason game it means nothing because we take it too seriously - but anytime we lose it's proof that we're crap and are going to go badly.

Who can tell with preseason form? I'm not going to slit my wrists just yet. I think Harves philosophy is heavily based around relentless pressure and intensity. Might be the sort of gameplan that's hard to implement in practice matches with the appropriate enthusiasm. That's what I'm hoping anyway.

Time will tell but I'm certainly not quite as optimistic as I was a few months ago.

Who else just heard the pyscho on 5aa complaining about Broges saying that he hates the cows?? OMFG! Take a Valium and lie down sweetheart. I've heard Ruccuito say FAR worse things in far more sensitive places.

haha yeah i heard about half of that then it was off with the radio.

Well done Port, Ive always been a fan of Salopek, hope he can stay out on the park the whole season, hes set himself up to explode.

Along with Boak and Pearce these are some of the best young players going round. Will be very interesting to see how the team lines up come round 1.

We can empathise with that.

Good luck with the new coach. It can take a while for things to settle down.
