It would be unlucky for all of us (presuming that all of us want a win against Adelaide, no matter what we do for the rest of the season).

So he wants to bring in Lade and Wilson for a last hurrah against the Crows (thanks for the rationale, ExpectToWin), but doesn't want us to actually win the game? It's a risky move to expect the old guys to lift enough to help get us a win -- everyone will be miserably unhappy if it doesn't work, which is quite likely. Whereas if the young guys can't lift enough to win, it's not good, but it's part of the learning process.

Don't know what makes Rucci think that. Logan is one of the very few, if not only player, that has given his all in every game he has played this season. 25 possessions last week. He should NOT be dropped.

Bentley is unlikely to be dropped on his performance last week so Stewart may miss out again.

Looking at the PAFC website the club obviously doesn't think very much of Logan, "NO IMAGE AVAILABLE", "This player does not have any match statistics recorded."

A lot of the Downfall spoofs are just randomly slapped on text without any thought given to actually meshing with the film itself, but this is really really well done - especially when they tentatively explain that Burton's gone and one general finishes the other's sentence.

1/ That video is bloody hilarious...well done.

2/ On the tough stuff department....as a long time Bulldog supporter ( yes you could include long suffering in a past tense ) Darryl Poole scared the crap out of a few of our boys. I remember our 1st or maybe the second G/F we played ( both against your boys ...yes you won both ) I was there , and watched as Poole gave a quick whack to our C.H.F. ( name escapes me ) on the opening bounce. I thought right ...now is the time for an all in brawl and let rip. Unfortunately there wasnt a yelp. I remember thinking were stuffed here...and we were.

3/ Showdown....Port by about 30 pts. Forgeting all the Port v Crow crap which has bored me to tears for a year or 2 now...I just cant see why we would be favourites. You guys havent been winning, but you have hardly been smashed. Alot of the games you have lost you shouldve won and you are not playing that badly. My Crows on the other hand are playing woeful footy and appear lost in their direction, especially up forward. Now take out our only 2 goal kickers and I think we are prime for a thumping.
I am dissappointed in our selection...it is safe. What we need is a surprise packet to come in and fire...we have not selected that. ( the only one close to it will be Jehrico and the jury is still very much out on him....maybe ? )
Not convinced Macca will play...even if he does how fit is he ?
Port have selected to win this game and will get a great start with your Rucks...something I think we will struggle with.

I just cant see the Crows , who are way down on confidence, being able to match a side that is playing it's "grand final".

I just hope its as good a game as the last Showdown.. it proved if the Umps buggered off and let it go, good old footy as we knew it is still out there ( sometimes ).
