Yeah, but he's obviously not going to be in Melbourne doing last minute deals if he'll be in Adelaide by 2. You'd think he'd need to be on a plane by midday our time at the latest meaning any deals would likely be in the morning.

I'm gonna say it, have been very impressed this off-season. Losing Danger is massive and they have done a great job mitigating that loss and spreading out our talent across the whole squad. Trading out Mackay and delisting Wright is almost too much to hope for but may actually happen this year.

I'm not saying your wrong because I don't think you are but there is no way of knowing he hasn't asked for a trade. All those things rung true for Menzel 48hrs ago.

We could have offered him 5yrs at $$$$, he has asked Syd to negotiate his next deal a year out from being out of contract (hence his manager publicly saying he will sign by Dec...) and if they can't satisfy him he will inform them of his intent to leave be it now or at the end of the year knowing our offer will stand. Syd with buddy and tippet and no COLA may want him but be having trouble coming to the party
