He was a walking disaster zone
Agreed. And that stupid kick out of bounds on the full at the end almost cost us the game.

I would not be surprised if he gets dropped for Gray and Fantasia next week (we really need a crumbing forward in the forward 50 who doesn't leap at the ball). His efforts off the ball were far too insipid. But maybe those of us at the game see something that isn't captured on the TV or vice versa? And maybe he just needs time to adjust after only recently coming back in.

Very disappointed with Houston's game as well. Seemed reluctant to put his head over the ball and caught in no mans land on the Suns attacking runs far too often. Maybe he is carrying an injury in addition to his hand that we don't know about.

Amon is on the way out and playing like it.

Jonas' gets a lot of stick in this forum but gee he saved us in defence a few times. Great game.

Powell-Pepper his usual gutsy dependable self and Rozee is living up to his post draft hype every week this year. And Lachie Jones is a courageous super star in the making - let down only by his over-exuberance at times. He will learn with time when to stay down and crumb and when to jump and we then have our ready made Robbie Gray replacement.

But we all agree that Marshall is simply a brilliant forward. Looking back on the trash talk spoken about him just over a couple of years ago brings a smile to my face. The most accurate forward in the. AFL this year. And plays the leading forward to perfection.

Another game and result that would've meant more to me if this season wasn't dead in the water and the lame duck wasn't sitting there as head coach.

Understand the pile on on Duursma but he's a bloke who's has his confidence sapped out of him, I don't want him dropped but I know he will be.

"Sack Hinkley, Sack Hinkley, Sack Hinkley ...... terrible we won, terrible we won, terrible we won .... wah wah wah..." sound like f****ng Arsenal supporters!

Give a f**k about Hinkley, the players put in a lion hearted performance for club and guernsey and all some of you whinging ****s can do is disparage and denigrate the side.

Grow up and support your team you f****ng arseholes - fancy calling yourselves Port Adelaide supporters when you are pissed off that we won!

Well done Port Adelaide - keep winning.
**** Hinkley and **** Arsene Wenger (the 2nd half of his coaching/manager career at arsenal)

I especially enjoyed the way that the entire SUNS supporter base was permitted onto the sacred turf to form a guard of honour as they ran out!
It was funny, I watched themselves it up in front of the eastern gate - the organiser was just grabbing random people as they walked past, outfitting them in merch and handing out flags.

Amon copped AFLs version of a triple double? 10 marks 10 tackles 25+ touches

Thought George was pretty good especially in the second when half our team went to sleep. Flew cracked in to some contests kicked a goal. Could of kicked 6
This is when I come back from the game, look at the stats and swear I was at another game.

Amon was simply off the pace to me and yet those stats are, as you say, pretty damned good.

And Georgiades scoring efforts were notable despite me thinking during the game his forward defensive efforts in that last half were deplorable.

Probably why I am not a coach.

Off to watch the replay now and will probably change my views 100%.

That miss from 15 metres out with 2 minutes to go to seal the game encapsulates Boak's career.

I think my exact remark as it happened was “FFS Boak, will you ever win us a game?”

Jones isn’t a natural forward but is growing into his new role. 16 disposals, one goal and at least 2 pin-point passes hitting up leading forwards. On tonight’s performance he deserves more game time in that role

His best game for the Power. If he held a couple of those lead-up marks, would have gone close to the votes.

Ahaa!

I wondered about that. Thought to myself where the heck did all these Gold Coast fans with their little red and yellow flags come from.

Getting rid of Hinkley is something for the end of the season. Right now, it's about the players of the Port Adelaide Football Club upholding the Port Adelaide traditions and doing everything in their power to win.

There are some around here who are pretend Port supporters. They hope Port lose so they can get some f****ng satisfaction at sinking the boot into Hinkley for Port losing.

So I’ll go against the grain…

That was a really entertaining game of footy. Cracking contest and plenty of heat around the ball, some good end to end play and some individual brilliance from both sides.

Rozee and Dixon turned it back in our favour in the third, Dixon with pure willingness to compete and Rozee with utter class.

Jones showed a bit up front with good pressure acts and some sublime inside 50 entries.

Todd continues to impress not just with goals but competitiveness, Mitch had a few moments early too.

SPP gives it everything, every week even when it’s not always going his way.

For the suns, gosh Noah Anderson moves well and Ainsworth was dangerous all game. Miller is a legit star.

Only real big negatives were Motlop, who shouldn’t play again for us, and Frederick who just doesn’t go in hard enough at the ball or man.

We’re, what, 7-2 in the last nine weeks? The 0-5 start has killed us but the continual bed wetting here is just pathetic. Enjoy the win and seeing the development of a good young list. Ken won’t be here forever…

I have enjoyed watching us play the last 2 weeks... Couldn't say that for most of the year. Something has changed.
