Forward line is the weakest link but if lucas onwards get some decent games under their belts, could pay big dividends.

Im iffy about Bennyc and Cogs. i could downgrade one premium mid for one of them and upgrade a premium forward.

Tiller, Dempsey, Raines, Houlihan, Surjan are in the back of mind if i needed to reshuffle the defence in order to release some mula.

Other then that, nothings cement til THUR 25th.

Ive seen some posters deciding to pick Ablett. I just feel he is way overpriced and will be really hard to maintain that value.

You could give up Ablett for another gun mid and free up 150k.

The ones ive bolded, id only take a chance on 2 of the 4 in defence (prob Petterd & Houlihan) and only 1 starting first year player in forward (id say sidebottom) and upgrade yarran to someone whoms less of a risk and get more games (ie. vespremi, higgins, hentschel).

But seriously, your backs, mids and rucks are good, but in order to get your forwards right, (and this might be a bit harsh), id start over. But, when choosing your side, choose 2-3 elites in each category (1 in rucks), then, when deciding on the remaining players for each category, start with the least expensive first. You'll find you'll have money to spare rather than coming up short.

yeah i wasnt real keen on the forwards and i think my backline players are more DT player then SC , was a pretty rough team to start with still pre-season and 49/50 odd days to go still more work can be done

cheers for the heads up use anyway to get that inside edge and be a better team

If you can do it I'd try and pick Harvey as a forward rather than a mid. My reasoning is the choice of gun players you can get through the midfield as the year goes on probably is more than those that can be picked up in the forward line.
