I hope we start to get some father/sons through. It's been a goldmine for Collingwood and Brisbane, while we are in a real drought. It sucks when the academy teams up north continually get players in, while we get next to nothing. Even worse with Sydney getting academy players and father/sons. Double dipping. Such a joke.

Felicity doesnt hate geelong but she loves living in sydney and wont move back to vic. Makes the swans a more attractive destination for their kids.

Sounds like they are nowhere near AFL draft level if they are at local level.
It’s a shame as they had big wraps on Mooney as a junior. Has not really come on

Give Mooney time. He is bottom age at the Falcons and not eligible for the draft till next year.
Most of the first second rounders are playing TAC cup as under age. I assume talent projection at this point he is a fair bit off if he is not cracking the TAC cup team

so all the scare mongering about our father son was spin to counter the academy concessions...
when was the last time we had a highly rated Father son …probably Hawkins.
Any update on the new bidding system?? The academy concessions are getting insanely ridiculous.
The amount of high end first round talent on sydney and GWS list vis these streams is not ok to have in a system meant to be about equalisation.
It's retroverting back to a design of the old zoning draft days but only for a select few clubs.
For me, and i am quite outspoken, i dont tread around the bush. Any sydney or GWS premiership for me just has an asterisk next to it.

yeah its funny.
The FS system we had work our way gave us a few great players from family connections that come along occassionaly and not guaranteed every year.
The Academy's are getting the best kids in the land in that area every year and now its 3 and 4 a year.
Enough is enough.

And they keep changing the academy and NGA guidelines with it suits them too and yet the supporters of other clubs are still whinging about out F/S pick from 10 years ago…it’s a joke
