His immediate family would be shattered if Port picked him  They are crow fanatics and unfortunately we are continually being harangued by his paternal grandmother who is a neighbor.:(

Your 0.001% is spot on for a variety of reasons.
How are his immediate family Crow fanatics? He’s half-Burgoyne, half-Phillips.

I'd be shocked if Burgoyne and Montgomery aren't both on ports list next year. Francou a smokie for the rookie list
Burgoyne maybe. There's zero chance of Montgomery as well though. Ports SANFL list, yes.

We appear to have 1 rookie spot open. You'd think they'd pick Burgoyne before Montgomery.

None will be selected in the main draft.

Then Barrett as Cat B NGA?

He's certainly not at the pointy end of SA prospects but I'm confident he's in the top 20.
Well there's not really many this year

Draper, Dodson, Clarke, Hargrave, West, Nicholls, Welsh, 2x Campos, Bowman are good chances for National Draft

Then we have Barrett, Burgoyne, Montgomery who'd be amongst rookie chances along with Polkinghorne, Herbert and Newton. So yeah he's easily in that top 20

I like that write up on Louie. I think he is the best prospect of all of our tied players and has had a hard run at it with injury. The interview with the sa coach stated the same. I wonder where he would have ended up being rated if he actually had a decent pre season and some continuity this year?

Must admit I’ve been impressed with the admittedly little I’ve seen of Louie , I guess those close to the action will know if he’s up to AFL standard , can be hard because you’d obviously love to have sons of past players , so far we’ve really on had Brett Ebert , Jase Burgoyne and Jackson Mead come through . I think Rome will get a few extra points from being a Burgoyne ,not sure about Louie and young Francou . Be great if they were all stars but I guess we can’t pick them in front of a better player

Watched the four champs games and some SANFL this year hoping to see some father son action. All above board and legal. Monty was good, Barrett ok in bursts. Burgoyne probably a year behind those guys in development.

PlayHQ has the best player tallies.

Montgomery
National Championships: 4 games (best players: 1)
SANFL u18s: 8 games (best players: 5)
Some highlights:
Magpies v Sturt - 9 marks, 7 intercepts, 5 score involvements. wears number 68
SA v WA - national champs. wears number 9

Barrett
National Championships: 2 games (best players: 1)
SANFL u18s: 10 games (best players: 7)
SA v Vic Metro - First quarter only. wears number 6

Burgoyne
National Championships: 1 game (best players: 0)
SANFL u18s: 10 games (best players: 2)

Francou and Ky Burgoyne
No state squad or combine invites

I just don’t get why we haven’t created more list spots going into this period. Can we still do so?

The AFL has been coy about the date of a second list lodgement. Usually this was public knowledge.

I'm really hoping that Barrett, Montgomery and Francou have been playing in an underwhelming way to get them on the cheap.

We don't have many competitive advantages but paying cheaply for Father/Sons would be one of them.

Im thinking the same.
