5. Mundy - Had a lot of the ball and kept driving it forward to dangerous positions. At the end of the day collectively our midfield beat theirs.
4. Barlow - Apart from a small period, kept Selwood very honest and really kept the ball moving our way. Again our midfield beat theirs.
3. Ballantyne - huge effort up and down the ground, making opportunities.
2. Pavlich - Took and converted the heap of opportunities he had.
1. DeBoer - Smashed a heap of packs and was the real fire in the intensity. Quite a few Geelong players in the first half fumbled with him bearing down.

4. McPhee - Our best defender, went in hard and mopped up Geelong attacks time and time again
2. Barlow - crucial inside performance from him, found out later he had 11 tackles very impressive
1. Mundy - Showed plenty of poise through traffic and helped lead the way
1. Hill - Made all of his disposals count, I thought there was a chance he'd be overawed by the situation but he was terrific
1. Walters - This kid loves the big stage and is just about the best kick in the team
1. Ballas - unbelievable manic pressure, courage and goals, top game
