Read in the Tiser that Bassett had dropped Phillips, making the statement that no player is safe. Another genius draft choice that can't get a game in the seniors. Bye bye Phillips - thanks for the laughs. o_O

This is a continuing indictment against the brass of this club they should be moved on immediately they are nothing but spuds

After watching a fair amount of Magpie games this year, the following should seriously be considered for drafting next year:
Sam Gray (No 6), - midfielder, small forward with great skills, quick - perfect fwd/mid rotation player, a new Robbie Gray,
Luke Harder (No 17), - hard at it, good lead, strong hands and a good finisher - would make a perfect foil for Schulz,
Aseri Raikiwasa (No 54) - good size, good read of the play, young and with courage - could take a mid to tall fwd.

These are the ones we should get, the next are the ones who you could spend pick 50+ on:

Callum Wilson (No 3) - an indifferent season, but a good lead, and did kick 6 against the hens a couple of weeks ago,
Kory Beard (No 16) - talked about for the last 3 seasons, now 22, hasn't had a great year, but at his size, may slip under the radar,
Judd Robbson (No 5x)- alread a big unit, could be better than Lobbe, with work a great backup for Redden and Renouf, and
Mark Dolling (No 13) - reinvented in the last month as a small forward/mid. Mature, good finisher.

+ if Jeremy Clayton was 27 y.o., definately. If only.

Just over 6'2.
with muscle
with some grunt
doesn't matter how bad they'd be, we'd be better off with them

No, too small for AFL level
Not consistent enough and doesn't have the mobility
Yes, has came on a lot in the last 14 months
Yes, KPF depth while other younger prospects develop, Great mates with Brad
Yes, KPD depth is required and he fits the bill perfectly
Haven't seen enough, i dont see him being AFL ready
Ask me again in 4 weeks

+ if onlyy...

At 174cm I dont think hes big enough for AFL football but could be worth a punt as a rookie

Luke Harder (No 17), - hard at it, good lead, strong hands and a good finisher - would make a perfect foil for Schulz,

We already have Brett Ebert, we dont need a 2nd one.

Aseri Raikiwasa (No 54) - good size, good read of the play, young and with courage - could take a mid to tall fwd.

Few cm too small which is why he missed out this year but yep, happy to take a punt on him. Like him a lot.

Callum Wilson (No 3) - an indifferent season, but a good lead, and did kick 6 against the hens a couple of weeks ago,

Just...no. Had an awful year and already had his chance at West Coast.

Kory Beard (No 16) - talked about for the last 3 seasons, now 22, hasn't had a great year, but at his size, may slip under the radar,

hes been on the radar for 3 years as you say. I like him but there are reasons why hes been overlooked.

Judd Robbson (No 5x)- alread a big unit, could be better than Lobbe, with work a great backup for Redden and Renouf, and

Too much of a plodder imo.

Mark Dolling (No 13) - reinvented in the last month as a small forward/mid. Mature, good finisher.

Nowhere near AFL standard

So I understand that Banner is "unfit" and all that.. but FFS so are all our players and he is cracking 30 possessions a week! Get him in the bloody Port seniors for a start.

Can't wait to see how well Banner does in the reserves this week!

I'm making an uniformed irrational comment here, but it's B.S he's in the ressies ressies!
