Also represented Australia at under15 level on a tour of India.

Made a century at 13 or 14 for Ivanhoe 1st XI at sub district level.

It would be fantastic if it happened, love to see a Geelong boy in the side after traitors Buchannan & Harrison have left the club, and how badly Peakey was treated by the selectors. But I don't think it will

No, wrong mate.

Think about young toilers like me who have layed nothing but lower grades since geting out of under16s.

We could almost play Pilon as a batsman. He will never displace Crosthwaite, but perhaps he could get a game in front of gumbies like Rummans, Joseland and McDonald - especially when White and Hodge are on international duty.

Jeseland is hardly what you call a "gumbie" one only has to look at his stats to see he is an awesome player.

2001-2002 - 673 runs @ 51.77 and 10 wickets

2002-2003 - 693 runs @ 49.50 and 19 wickets

2003-2004 - 732 runs @ 48.80 and 25 wickets

2004-2005 - dont have stats but.. 3rd place in Ryder Medal

Are those his district stats? Big whoop, Shawn Craig and Shawn Flegler make runs in District, should they be in the side too? The point is Joseland, like the other 2 I mentioned does stuff all when given a chance in the Vic side and should not be looked at again.

He was tried once and sucked.

I hope he doesn't get another go. We need to develop Tait, Rofe, Johnson.

I'd prefer Dorey over Nicholson, and I've faced both.

2 games and 110 runs, thats not a bad start to state cricket. hardly what you would call "done stuff all". and if selectors were not looking at district cricket i was wondering where it is they pick the players from???
