Almost as shit as the year Kath and Kim were on.

hope ur not being serious. During the first song, the drummer stopped "playing" while the "music" was still playing.
At least that was amusing.Almost as shit as the year Kath and Kim were on.
Spot on. Later the drummer was banging at the drums like a chimpanzee and they weren't making a sound.
I think the vocals might have been live though.
Where I sat, people just carried on their conversations until the "noise" stopped. It was rubbish.
As for balloon girl, we were hoping the guys holding the ropes would fall over and let the ropes go. Now that would have been entertaining.
What was more disgraceful today:
- the pre-match entertainment
- Port Power
Worst pre-game entertainment I've seen. One band performance, who weren't even playing live (the singer was the only one live). A weak DJ session, which sounded terrible. That acrobat thing went all wrong, especially with the wind. Where were the classic songs? Where were the team banners on the ground?
Re-think it next time, AFL.
Everything was bad except the baloon girl who was just comic relief. Do they always have every single cup at the game and annouce the team/year/player holding it? that was terrible! dragged on and on and on.... not sure if it was on TV though.
Worst pre-match entertainment EVER
Worst bitching and complaining thread EVER.

Do we really have to play the national anthem? I know it'll never get scrapped, but I hate having to put up with it.Scarp the "entertainment". Its a failure every time, and always will be to large sections of the audience.
Parade the retired players, and the hall of fame inductees. Get someone to sing the anthem, and bounce the ball. Its a football day, leave it to football.

As for the band, they may as well go for an unknown local indie band instead of a big name - noone cares that it's Jet (in fact, most people here seem to hate Jet).
