Any thoughts how we structure up with Darling and Oscar?
I’m expecting darling to play as no1 forward.

Both - Allen and Darling have the tank to be lead up CHF's, and both would be good out of the square. Ryan can also play FF really well and is a hard match up.

I think it's good to have options, and if one set up isn't working we go to the next.

I don't know. There are some decent highlights in here. As others have said, I think the frustrating thing is that for every nice highlight that he has, Williams seems to have a brainfade/facepalm moment as well. He's still only 22 and for a ruckman, that's pretty young. Other than Nic Nat, not many ruckmen burst onto the scene right away - see Darcy Cameron, Tim English, Max Gawn (albeit had injury concerns), Marc Pittonet, there would be a lot of other examples.

With his game against Rowan Marshall last year and the Geelong game, I think he's proved he can be capable at AFL level. He just needs to try and get some consistency now - both game to game and quarter to quarter within a game - and really work on his forward craft, because if Nic is fit, he'll need to have an impact as a forward. If he doesn't, Jamieson may overtake him as second ruck pretty quickly.

Personally I'm still pretty confident he'll come good though and at least be a serviceable ruckman throughout his career.

From the highlights, he is a gun. Had some very good moments and we just need to get those from him more often. I hope he comes on more this season and really steps up. We need him to have a break out year.

Surely even if they can't stream a video due to club restrictions one of these jurnos could just do a running commentary of the game rather than posts every 5ish mins. Like listening to the game on the radio etc. Obviously would be C grade slap together stuff but I just wanna get some live footy action with all the little details!!! Suppose I could drag my lazy bumb down there myself. I know its not open to public but you could sit in their little cafe next to superstore and watch from behind the goals yeah?

Just so footy deprived and amped that competition all be it match sim has started again.
